Getting Ripped Off?

okai my rims were dmged and i need to replace them. insurence company has valued earch corner for $200 INCLUDING Tyers.....wat the hell dat means my rims are like 50 bux because i bought those tyers for like 150 bux.

Insurance companies will only cover the damage, not replacement for the whole set. Go to a tyre place and get a quote for the repair/replacement and forward to to your insurance company.

they were dmged in a accident so they will cover them. and they ARE replacing them. only problem is they cant find those rims here in aust (rims came with car) so im stuck with the choice of finding them other rims. they told me they seem around the $200 mark. which i find hard to believe.

wats ur view on them. how much do u rkn they worth?

$800 for those with tyres is about right

if u were to buy a new car for 20k have an accident 5yrs later would the insurance company give you 20k?

if u were selling those wheels with tyres i wouldnt pay more than $800 for them..

Yeah, u really have to argue with insurance companies or u get a screwed policy but yeah 800 sounds fair for those rims and tyres.

Those are worth nothing in Japan (like $250 THE LOT), so the estimates of $800 above seems ok I guess... those rims have been out of production for years.
