Has it been in any workshops lately?

No not lately, was booked in for a service on the saturday @ I.S Motorsport! I.S are the only ones who have been doing my servicing for the last year and i don't think Indy is into that type of thing.

its easy to disable an alarm installed at a shop (not by yourself) they always install them in a similar way so i doubt it would have been on a truck, more like an experienced wanker theif got in the car and it took him a few minutes to disable the alarm, start the car and drive off.

that said im really sorry to hear it, i hope u get it back and i will keep a lookout i am in that general area a fair bit i was on botany road just an hour ago!

Sorry to hear that BLK R33 GTST, I really hope you get it back

If you dont mind, I'd be interested to know what alarm you had fitted

wasnt parked in a no stopping zone? at 3pm every day heaps of cars get taken from the clearway on oxford st and various places in the city....

youd think that if the alarm was going off people would notice

This happened to me, after 3pm it becomes a clearway on Oxford St so they towed my car to Crown st around the corner. Of course I had no idea so had that gut wrenching feeling that it got stolen. I got told at the police station its been towed thank god, so I looked at the sidestreets and there it was. f**kers scratched my front bar towing it but I didnt give a crap at that time, so glad to get it back

that shit is crazy i work on coward street n go to the shops all the time.Good luck n i will keep n eye out.Though one time i was in the charcoal chicken store getting a chicken went outside to check on my car and a towey was gettin ready to tow it i kinda abused him and got in my car went around the block he was gone ran in got my chicken n back to work ,all that trouble for food.

sorry to hear about your car dude. i hope it turns up.

the thing about car thefts is that the crim doing the stealing rarely ever steals out of his own area, thats why most stolen cars dont turn up as people are looking in the wrong places. if it turns up i doubt it will be in the same area.

i'll definately keep an eye out for it.

So sorry to hear about your loss mate

Hopefully it's just been towed and they forgot to call the cops or something, or that it turns up in one piece after a short joy ride!

My eyes and ears are open for ya

    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
    • Ah coolant overflow, previous discussions make way more sense now lol.
    • ok. Yea, then I would need to remove the turbo and weld an adapter on to it instead, if I fuc* this one up.
    • No. Only for a standard ECU with/without Nistune. Standalone has no need for it. That's like the 3rd time I've said so.   And as to that sensor linked - yes, it does look like it would be the right one. I've never bothered to see how available they were - just assumed that they'd be hard to find. I think I'd be planning to go Link ECU rather than buy sensors I don't actually want to make Nistune work, if I did not already have Nistune. As you do not already have Nistune, you should realy consider your options.
