im in!, i rang the place up today and he told me about it..

i just bought my r33 few days ago, so im down for this, be getting one from him regardless...

if i dont get in the group buy, only save 50 dollars anyhow..

unlimited spots mate...just needed 10 as the minimum, and we've got that already

I'll send you the PM with the payment details right now...please pay ASAP, so that we can get the kits sent out ASAP.

6 people have sent and had their payments confirmed already...3 are on the way to being confirmed (sent but not cleared yet)

just letting everyone know, im heading to shepparton for the SAU DECA event...i'll be back on sunday, so dont stress if i dont reply to PM's etc....ill be back sunday and ill be right back on top of things :O

Ok guys im back. above is the list as it stands. EGA says he's paid, so ill have to wait for his payment to clear...

Now here's the problem. I have 2 deposits, with no name references...only deposit numbers.

anyone on the list who isnt confirmed as paid, who says they've paid, you're going to have to tell me what you're deposit number is so that i can confirm you as paid.

once this is sorted, and everyones paid (which should be 1 more) ill get the kits, and they'll be sent out ASAP.

so if you arent marked as paid, and have made your deposit, i need a deposit receipt number ASAP!

Just a note: The number that Michael would have received on deposits would be the BSB number of the branch where the deposit was made. This will also be on the deposit slip, stamped on and should be a 4-6 digit code. Alternatively you can call the branch to find out what their BSB number is. This will help speed up payments, then Michael can send the kits out immediately.

sorry for the late reply, I have no net at home and been working my ass off. I will pm the receipt the details probably tommorrow. Don't think the stupid chick at the counter put me in the description.

cmon guys! get your arses into gear! car arrives at my door step in 9 days i want my cooler kit! lol

hehe, pretty much everyone has said they've paid...and im just waiting for EGA's to clear, and to confirm the mystery payment as someones....then ill buy them and they'll be sent out..so you should have it within 9 days for sure :)

EDIT. mystery payment confirmed...still waiting on EGA41T's payment to show up, and that'll be that :)

All of the kits were dropped off at the post office this afternoon, with the exception of EGA41T's (payment not yet cleared) and the 2 guys picking them up.

Being dropped off late afternoon, they'll probably be sent out tomorrow...so should have them soon guys.

Biasa and khunjeng, i've got your kits here, so we'll have to organise pick up sometime...

I see that you have a kit to suit GC8/GF8 WRX's, could you confirm if this kit will also fit an SF5 Forester, as some GC8 kits(such as APS kits) are direct bolt ons, while others won't fit.

      Does the old one line up OK if you try to put it back in? In the 32 (different geometry) it is hard to reinsert the ball joint with the sway bar and spring attached. But ultimately.....this wouldn't be the first aftermarket part that is not right....

      Yep and yep ! Every time I now take out the R33 I get a lot of thumbs up as well, and my car was also a daily until last year. Still get people coming up and asking about it. A while ago the most memorable being a V8 commodore driver who approached me in the bunnings carpark and asked me why the were so fast and what kind of V8 it had in it. Couldn't resist and told him they were only a straight six the same capacity as the 161 red motor. The look on his face was legendry. However the shine has gone off cause as well as the appreciation there is now a lot of harassment from other drivers in there VW/Nline/Ae86 with body kits or whatever the hell they are, while all I want to do is cruise.( well sort of drive with spirt ) I always try and get the hell away from them by driving slow, putting on my lawn bowling hat and leaning over the steering wheel to look as old fart as possible.

      There really isn't enough to help remotely....the nav screen likely takes it's visual feed from another unit that is not plugged in properly now (that is how the cima worked at least). Sounds like at least the reverse cam works. It is a possibility the screen is dead of course, minor knock while it was apart. I had to replace the Cima screen because it would not display anything in the morning when below 0.

      Yeah, I get that. I try to be as cost-efficient as possible with cars, and typically prefer to buy them at the bottom of their depreciation curve. I was looking at those Bilsteins too as they're roughly in the same price bracket as the BC's - lack of adjustability and being soft put me off, not that I want anything too hard. That's my issue with the Skyline, it's too expensive and it's reflected in my driving. I don't mind going full pelt as long as there's a gravel trap to catch me. Really, proper safety equipment is needed for total confidence. Well this just turned up for the BMW. I'll try and get the front together tomorrow and take some pics of the absolutely horrid rear end; perhaps I'll have a crack at the rear on Wednesday. I need to make the car drivable before the weekend as I'll be driving it over to London.
