Thanks Nick

The car's still got a couple of scars here and there but my gf is about to spend three months overseas, so theoretically I will have an excess of time and money to get it trimmed up, although I am saving for an engagement ring at the same time.

It's the battle of priorities on a grand scale!

just a quick one....is it worth putting Car model or some thing up the top to say how many of each type of Stag there is eg.

34 Series 1

34 Series 2

34 rs260

M35 rs

M35 AR-X

M35 Axis

Or is this a pain in there arse to do?

Tried doing this today, Craig, but you can only have three questions in the poll. Up to 30 answers per question can be put in, but the number of questions is the limiting factor... :P

Thanks Nick

No problems.

Niiice, what is that colour?

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the welcome, from what J-Spec called it I believe it is a Gold Metallic?? Not sure if that is Nissan's name for it tho, I think it goes nice with the tan leather tho ;)

I know Mazda had a similar colour at some stage.

I'm getting used to the M35 design. It's still has a bit of that anglularity that could make people think it's a Volvo, but it's different enough to go with the engine change.

Guess I'm saying it looks different, but just as good.

'99 Series 2 RS Four S,White with 18's (part of the Rays Sebring range i think) tein coilovers and a mild exhaust.

Nice one Jonnie! Welcome to SAU and the Stagea section.

Got any pictures?

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
