just a question on lag

mods=87mm arias pistons,eagle rods,,mild port polished head,ti springs and collars.to suit 256/ 8.5 poncams,greddy plenum.80mmthrotle body,9:1comp, flat decked block,manifold made of 1.5 inch od stainless tubing bellmouthed,knife edged crank

please some idea on what sort of revs a to4z would kick in with this kind of set up

sounds like lag monster probably am better off with somthing like a gt30 or hks 3240 maybee?

well im now leaning towards 450-500rwhp wich would be covered by the 3240 im guessing, car will be a weekender with a fair bit of track/strip use

should see that power with 75 hp bottle,otherwise 40 psi boost on a 35 40. otherwise i dont think so.

IMO 450rwhp is around as much as you would go on the RB25 otherwise its all just undue lag and wasted response.

Afterall its RWD still

If you want to track/circuit it... get something that will net 450rwhp as a peak. Otherwise your going to have allllll top end and nothing in the middle and the bottom.

A car better sorted suspension/brakes wise and 350rwhp will flog a$$ over something that has 450rwhp and nothing in the other departments

thanks for the response nismoid some food for thought there....brake ans suspension mods have been taken care of engines built and awaitin and running motec m800atm just trying to save for all the bolt on goods....thanks again for your opinion
