i was driving along wanneroo road with my mate in his r32 gtr, we approached the lights next to tuart hill maccas . As we pull up i notice the car inb the left lane is a magna... but wait it gets better it must have been some kind of super magna because it had a gtr sticker on the rear of the car.:bahaha:

i was laughing my arse off... we pulled next to this magna at the next set of lights and a stuck my head out the window and stated " Oi mate whats the deal with the GTR sticker" his response was " Oh its a factory extra, its a done up version of the magnas."

:bahaha: :bahaha: :bahaha:

i then said to him oi mate look what car your driving now have a look at this lovely piece of machinery...this is a gtr

the lights turned green and we left him in a cloud of smoke lol

some people are just f#cken stupid....

i found it very amusing though

AHAHAHAAHAAHHAAH!!:D :bahaha: :)

Thats what i like to hear!!! why people do that I have no idea...

Yeah the GTR Magna Rb26 twin turbo 4wd!! Bwahaahah!!

That has put a smlie on my face, Ive always wanted to do that but never manged to find cars while the driver is in it and on a private road of course.

the funniest i have seen is a suzuki swift like 1976 model or somthing old like that with GTR stickers on the back!! bwahahah! what an ass clown!

I think its even funny when you see a GTR badge on a non turbo skyline (& oh i saw heaps of those while looking for my baby)

People just laugh at you - screams "try hard"

Ahhh the old magna eh - a ralliart badge didnt quite cut it so they had to stick a GTR badge on there as well haha

first a WRX now a Magna - how low can he go haha! Oh well people will undrstand your taste in music if you drive a magna it'll be like "what the hell is that noise ...oh look its coming out of the magna thats ok then he was obviously born with bad taste"

hehe :(

Yeah see your a smart man because your Magna would of lost a lot more money!

Driven Veradas and Sports many a time they are what they are Mitsubishis. Ok they arent all that bad but they are hardly a sports car!

Why not just go the ultimate try hard mitsubishi.. the all new ralliart vtec gtr hks apexi nizmo lancer, running 13" rubber with extra soft toys on the shelf.. i hear the badges are good for at least an extra 50kW at the wheels.. and the toys are only for the hardcore... :(

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
    • If it (the code) wasn't still current, it should have gone away by itself by now. No, nothing it 10/10. But it is quite likely. Everything else to do with the ignition could still be responsible (which is wires and connectors). The car is an old piece of shit now, so all the wires and connectors are also old pieces of shit.
