yay my intercooler just arrived, deleivery guy stepped in dog shit hahahahahahaha..

Now, does any one know a good place to go on the northside for install? and how much it wil cost?

There is more to fitting an intercooler than just cutting a bumper...

There is quite a bit too it if you are doing it properly and to DOT standards...

It took me and my father inlaw about 5 hours to fit mine, the reason it took so long was we had to weld tabs onto the bumper support and front bar needed to be cut about 10 times before we got a good fit...

Its not a rush job...

ok i will reprase, anyone know a shop north side that will do install. i need number today so i can book it in for next week :D

and please dont say your place col :P

in my opinion... its only worth doing if you know how to do it without any hesitations or needing to ring or ask anyone questions about something.

otherwise, if u want to do it yourself, i'd have someone who knew what they were doin with you to guide you through it.

yeah, i know, but i got no idea when it comes to it, so it would take me like 5 days lol, and i would probably need a new bumper by the end of it, after wrecking it trying to take it off or back on

Not to mention you need to cut a few 3" holes and pull the front end of the car apart...

I would rate is as a 3 start dificulity out of 5...

Fitting GT30 turbos is a 4 star... :D

Changing the oil is a half a start... :P

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
