Ian, the organiser.

It would appear he has a twin! There was a guy in a car exactly the same as that who wouldnt look at me when we were beside each other on the freeway for about 15 minutes. But I know what Ian looks like and it wasnt him :P

Identity Theft!

When was this? I only got the car recently...

See now, I like Ian because he spells correctly. He makes an effort and that impresses the heck out of me.

All you other lazy bastards take note!!

Although he did "attempt" to hit me with a Mountain Dew bottle last night....

My ninja skills are strong!!

btw, the guy in the ute last night i think got done for drink driving.

there was that many RBT's here on the southside (i went through 2 - entry onto the freeway from the city and also along mains road in sunnybank). he got ask to pull in at the rbt at the city one.

In that case I am DAMN glad he didn't run into anyone or go over the side.

Props to the police for having the RBT's out by the way, first time I'm seen one in AGES. Much better and more effective that hiding a camera on the side of the road.

cop pulled me up on mains road and said "you've been pulled over for a rbt" and i said "yeah, already done this tonight" and he goes "so you know the drill", i blew in and was let go and before i took off, he asked "is this your 2nd or 3rd time tonight", i go "2nd".

then i suggested to shane we go back in 30mins and see if we can get the same cop and if i get asked again, i'd answer "2nd time with you, 3 times tonight"

A new set of pads and Shane will have his work cut-out for him :(

tell me when to laugh....

You need to help met set my suspesion up!

He always had his work cut out for him! Even if you were in Nannas 180b :mage:

yeahh he was going to get ass raped by them lovely coppers he was :P

P.S gotta say thanks to the gtr who nicely opened his screamer pipe right be side us last nite! boy oh boy was it nice :thanks:

only thing i disagree with last night's RBT was where they actually had it out on the freeway in the cbd area.

pretty damm stupid place to put one, though the area is signed 60k, majority of people are already doin 80 to 100k from the lights goin south.

huh? wat?

still cant hear you ;)

that pop from the exhaust right next to my ear made the inside of my ear feel all tingly.

lesson learnt - never have window down while a car next to me has screamer pipes!

Suck eggs to him! But I did hear they were going to go a bit crazy this weekend.

But its not that hard to not drink and drive. I had 2 partys last nite to go to. So I dropped my car off on the thursday at the 2nd partys house, got dropped off to work, one of the guys at work dropped me in the city did that party, then caught a cab to 2nd party. Got up this morning, helped clean up then drove home 100% fine! Easy as!

I just got back - got pauls AWD controller installed - its the sex! heaps more responsive AWD now :action-smiley-069:

I will do a writeup for everyone else on sunday afternoon, however I dont know how many AWD users we have in QLD?

Also GG police, dickhead in ute (I believe they were the ones screaming "do a burnout" at summerset?), 0, karma, 1

Karen will be pleased when she reads this.

    • What are we supposed to be seeing in the photo of the steering angle sensor? The outer housing doesn't turn, right? All the action is on the inside. The real test here is whether or not your car has had the steering put back together by a butcher. When the steering is centred (and we're not caring about the wheel too much here, we're talking about the front wheels, parallel, facing front) then you should have an absolutely even number of turns from centre to left lock and centre to right lock. If there is any difference at all then perhaps the thing has been put back together wrongly, either the steering wheel put on one spline (or more!) off, and the alignment bodged to straighteb the wheel, or the opposite where something silly was done underneath and the wheel put back on crooked to compensate. Nut there isn't actually much evidence that you have such a problem anyway. It is something you can easily measure and test for to find out though. My money is still on the HICAS CU not driving the PS solenoid with the proper PWM signal required to lighten the load at lower speed. If it were me, I would be putting either a multimeter or oscilloscope onto the solenoid terminals and taking it for a drive, looking for the voltage to change. The PWM signal is 0v, 12V, 0V, 12v with ...obviously...modulated pulse width. You should see that as an average voltage somewhere between 0V and 12V, and it should vary with speed. An handheld oscilloscope would be the better tool for this, because they are definitely good enough but there's no telling if any cheap shit multimeter that people have lying around are good enough. You can also directly interfere with the solenoid. If you wire up a little voltage divider with variable resistor on it, and hook the PS solenoid direct to 12V through that, you can manually adjust the voltage to the solenoid and you should be able to make it go ligheter and heavier. If you cannot, then the problem is either the solenoid itself dead, or your description of the steering being "tight" (which I have just been assuming you mean "heavy") could be that you have a mechanical problem in the steering and there is heaps of resistance to movement.
    • Little update  I have shimmed the solenoid on the rack today following Keep it Reets video on YouTube. However my steering is still tight. I have this showing on Nisscan, my steering angle sensor was the closest to 0 degrees (I could get it to 0 degrees by small little tweaks, but the angle was way off centre? I can't figure this out for the life of me. I get no faults through Nisscan.
    • The BES920 is like the Toyota Camrys of coffee machines. E61 group head is cool, however the time requirements for home use makes it less desirable. The Toyota Camry coffee machine runs twin boilers and also PID temp control, some say it produces coffees as good as an E61 group head machine.
    • And yes with a full tank it will hit limiter free revving or driving 6B6CDF6E-4094-426D-A9CB-6C553475FE36.mp4
    • One way of putting the fuel surge idea to rest, is that even when in neutral/clutch in or free revving it still has the same issue, it can’t even get to limiter (7800) so to me that says it can’t be g force, I’m not trying to argue I just want to find the f&$king issue 😡
