-I'm going to have to back Mark up here...the clutch definitely isn't slipping, I assure you. I drove it a few weeks back.

-In regard to the other things, it doesn't leak any oil, so I assume everything has been fixed since he posted.

-He drives the car like a girl, never seen redline or anything like that. Gets driven very rarely, cause he's too much a bitch to pay petrol ;)

Interpreting what you said last night on here, this Chris guy is a friend of yours and lives in your house being fed by your mum....hardly an independant third party...

he is a friend who comes here once in a while for a feed.. and how is this relevant..?

frankly i dnt care if lee buys it or not.. I KNW ther is nothing wrong with it.. thats why its not for a quick sale @ 15k like the boost cruising kid!...

yes over a year ago.. and if it was slipping wouldnt it be BAD now..? but the fact is it wernt.. so it might have been something .. as if i remember from a year ago.. this is bullshit

I HAVE BEEN HONEST. and i forgot 1 point about the AFM which was fixed a bloody year ago.. so asif i would remember it without someone bringing it up?

Clutch slipping was "something else"!!! Are you kidding?? The clutch would be fcked and you've been driving it soft so it hasn't recently slipped...under hard driving it would still be fcked...clutches don't fix themselves and I don't think anything else causes them to randomly slip other than them being on their way out....

some one did bring it up and you did remember, but you didn't tell me...

your words not mine.....

i call BULLSHIT!!

well ther is many things that might contribute. eg wheel spin, surging.. and mis judgement..

IF IT IS SLIPPING WHY ISNT IT ROOTED AFTER A YEAR?

LOL i like this one.....

he told me NO ONE else has EVER driven his car.... you you have cool....

or he wiped it??

not really his friend more of his brothers friend otay i see, so you like to watch your friends brother and take notes

- unless your driving the car hardish you probably wouldn't know if the clutch is slipping

- If you only go around to his house every now and again and your his brothers friend how do you know if its leaking oil, do you hoist it up and check everything??

- If he never drives the car that's another reason he hasn't noticed the clutch getting worse..and probably why it's not leaking as much oil.

Meh.....everything just sounds suss....should have been upfront about EVERYTHING from the start. Sif you couldn't remember everything....thats like saying ohhh I didn't remember I fcked the diff in it 6 months ago...you knew, you just didn't want it to affect your chances of the sale going through....

Think about how you'd feel if this was the flip side situation and Lee hadn't told you all these things...you can't honestly say you wouldn't have pulled out of the deal....

dude ive told u ppl have driven my car.? sean my bro and vic to his house.. wanna knw how far chris drove my GTR... ask him..

it was down the driveway and back so i could get the liberty out that was parked infront.. DUDE!

THEN HOW DOES HE KNOW IF THE CLUTCH IS SLIPPING...you're digging a deeper hole...

well ther is many things that might contribute. eg wheel spin, surging.. and mis judgement..

IF IT IS SLIPPING WHY ISNT IT ROOTED AFTER A YEAR?

because clutches last a long time after they start slipping if they're treated right. Come on Mark your an ex-mechanic.....you know the difference between wheel spin, surging etc and a clutch slipping i hope...

If you only go around to his house every now and again and your his brothers friend how do you know if its leaking oil, do you hoist it up and check everything??

His parents are quite anal about cars parking on the driveway that leak oil. My old car leaked oil all over it and I got in trouble ;) If his car did, they'd probably disown him :(

ASK CHRIS..

all of u's stop being faggots and listen.. if u got a question direct it at me or whoever else.

chris was in my brothers grade he comes over every so often. has a meal we go out to places.. sometimes in the GTR. my brother sean has driven the GTR. from church and i followed in the R34. victor another mate has driven it. that is the ONLY people who have driven it apart from the odd buyer.

in regards to the clutch. it is not slipping or it wouldnt be able to be driven! its not slipping now. drive it forurself lee

the rear diff leak is from the Breather up top. homer rules said to clean the breather and i did and its all fixed!... the gearbox breather has not been cleaned yet but doesnt seem to have oil on it anymore. so leads me to believe it was drips from the service.

the AFM was not a major issue and was resolved over a year ago. and i have been asked many times by people why i have alfoil on it? as a heat shield for shrink wrap. the alfoil aint ther now because the heat shrink doesnt shrink anymore. thats the full story.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=113284

and to top it all off.. lee hasnt asked me all the questions. eg this and that. he asked me if anything is wrong with ur car???. and i said cv boot bushes paint peel. and the diff breather. i did not mention the afm as it slipped my mind and if someone did mention it which i think was noel..? then i told the story.

and the AFM is not a problem with the car anymore..

any other questions..?

and keegs.. its a long time ago. i dnt remember the clutch issue thats why i am denieing it!.. whatever happened to innocent untill proven guilty?

    • Per Mark Roberts of Sonictune: Mark Robert Author At this time, no. No ETA either 2016-17 models. You will be able to purchase and install a 2018.5+ TCU though   TCU purchasing and pricing info! As we near the release of TCU tuning, I am going to answer some questions I get asked often.   What do I need for TCU tuning? At this time, you will need a 2018.5+ TCU to be able to tune. If you have a 2016-to early 2018, you will need to replace your TCU with the newer version. One good way to know if your TCU is good is if you have auto upshift in manual mode in 1st gear around 6500 rpms. If your manual 1st gear goes to 7k rpm and will hit the rev limiter unless you shift, you have the older TCU.   Why do I need to buy another ecu license/phone flash if I already have it on my ECU tune? The TCU is its own computer module. It is completely separate from the ECU. Because of this, you will be required to purchase a TCU license and, if your tuner has it, the phone flash license required to tune it via phone/bluetooth.   Do I need TCU tuning? TCU tuning is NOT required. However, the faster your setup, the more it will assist in track and dragy time consistency.   If I’m ECU tuned by (tuner A) can I get my TCU tuned by (Tuner ? Yes, since it’s a different module and a completely separate flash, you can have two different tuners. However, it is highly recommend that you have both tuned by the same tuner. For me, my TCU tuning will directly complement my ECU tuning style and features and running my ECU and another TCU or vice versa MIGHT cause some issues. At this time and for the foreseeable future, I will only be tuning my current ECU tuned customers TCUs.     I have a SYVECS AWD controller. Do I still need it? Yes! The AWD controllers main job is to control your AWD system. However, with TCU tuning, you will no longer need the auto-shift function as that will be done through the TCU. The AWD controller will still be very beneficial for racers looking to maximize traction on the launch.     Shift schedule changes: holding gears longer at lower pedal input as well as max shift rpm changes. Please note, the new ECU race rom coming out will address 90% of the shitty drivability issues these cars have through custom maps from myself and Racebox—as well as others I am sure.   Increase shift speeds: as seen in the videos I’ve been posting, the TCU shifts much faster once tuned.   Increased shift pressures: as also seen in the videos, much firmer full throttle shifts.

    • The fancy pants red shock tower brace is finally incoming from MX5 Mania, getting it shipped from 'Merica has been a long and problematic process, and GWR, the 'Merican supplier will not ship directly to consumers outside of the US, Mania basically had to order a heap of them, the colour choice was silver, or red, and we all know anything red adds 5 killerwasps of dynotorques..... Whilst it does fit over a 2.5, and I've seen a few photos and videos of it being installed and fitting, google also says it might get real close to the FAB9 intake front runner, people in the US says it does fit with the FAB9 intake, except for one person who said it slightly touched.......so there is that.....LOL..... As it seems that I am the first in AU to have this combination of parts there's no local knowledge about fitment, so I'm just a willing guinea pig in this endeavour, I'll cross my fingers and toes and hope for the best In other news, I ordered stuff from China  on the same day I ordered the 23° silicone bend from Victoria, the stuff from China arrived a day ago, the 23° silicone bend is still travelling around Australia thanks to Australia Post, and "may" be here next week
    • Very good news...I contacted Racebox about it last night. My car is a 2016 so remains to be seen if it is compatible, requires a TCU swap, or is impossible.
    • What ECU are you running? This is probably the biggest question. If it's a PowerFC, I'd probably change the ECU and get something newer that will handle the injectors in a nicer way.
