ahaha..ok..

hmm tossing up the idea of buying a a/m FPR or seeing if the standard one works with 740cc.. which sound be flowing 60% at 200 but im going for 240kw. what brand.. had a malpassi before.. not impressed.. perhaps sard..?

perhaps ill try with the standard..any suggestions

*clears throat*

ha ha

Who wants to drive my car to a good drag time? I couldn't be bothered ha ha

i'll do it.

and i'll try not to blow this one up :)

noel...old man and me are going to keep the greddy mani on for now and then later do a straight manifold swap and do some back to back testing to see dyno and real world difference between greddy and plazmaman on a built motor....how does that sound for ya? We were arguing about it all afternoon....stupid old man, annoys the hell out of me sometimes. Just need some egt sensors in every port or lambda sensors for every port to monitor afrs for every cylinder. Hopefully we will cover most bases, not only will it help with tuning it will help log the results in terms of airflow for each cylinder and whatnot.

Completely random...but i rememeber that thread we were talking about whats better and whats proven and blah blah blah...so here is our chance to actually do that for everyone.

pyro's in which side, intake or exhaust? i remember reading on here somewhere about them and the general consensus was that they'd interfer too much with the air flow

Your man cans are growing bigger by the day. You'll be sitting down to piss next.

i thought he already did :)

y do u want to adjust the fuel pressure? if u've got good injectors and a good fuel pump, u shouldnt need to play with the pressure.

doesnt have to be full on racing...even just sprints or the time attack days even top gear.

drag and drift is all over way too quick....wasnt meant to rhyme either.

haha or maybe it was... :D

nah prolly just a T04Z. My tax return wasnt quite as large as I would have liked

That list on his msn is his list.

that'll still make ~700bhp. well so dan reckons. haha always the way isnt it

ahh i see, we mite see it running in another 5 years :D

well he has to do my engine, check your clearances, and the million other things that he does to help people out.

apparently some tuners prefer being able to dial in more fuel pressure.. and also i wank the wank factor :sorcerer:

just gonna run 740cc nismo direct fit. i forgot what brand pump i got. im ordering the turbo thru aaron 3071R 56 (slide) unless someone recommends otherwise..

maybe ill talk to dan

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
