They just had word from the national head office that they are not allowed to use any external recruiters. All recruitment must be kept in house. That sucks!

that screams the sounds of a large firm to me

So in the end it was up to me again to contact Gav :verymad: (sent him a text msg)

bottom line its not ready..........

still need to wire HKS injectors, instal new vacuum lines, waiting for fuel fittings to connect HKS fuel rail to Tomei FPR.

That really does suck from your point of view, sorry to hear it.

That was supposed to happen here too, but I am seeing more gov jobs than ever before advertised externally.

Yeah. We're seeing a bit of this type of movement lately. Once they realise that it takes a little more finesse than sending someone a message over linkedin to successfully bring someone across, they come back. :)

This is fuarked. Tell him that if it isn't done by today, you will be taking it elsewhere and expecting your money back.

the weird thing for us was that we NEVER advertised externally before, then the new government made a big deal about not allowing the use of recruiters any more...then started doing it, confusing.

I would love someone to send me a linked in message to change jobs! ha ha

Its BS central!!!!........................is what I have gathered. What I don't understand is I am not a bad customer, and he is making me feel like a one :unsure:

I am more than happy to pay what is fair.......................but is this fair????

really depressed with how it has all been managed. It is evident there are inherent cash flow problems at his end but I should not be suffering the consequences from that.

I bet you when its comes to payment he wont hold back on anything!

I only created it because I nearly changed jobs 18 months ago and they wanted me to have one to look at.

Lol! So you've only ever worked for government? Does that mean that you've never really worked? :P

Nah I have worked in a few different places, but the last 9.5 years were various gov roles. Also die in a fire

      I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.

      Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
