24 hours a day sadly

dont know if I could do that.

what do you have to do if you get a call?

is it based on a tired system of nothing if small, to, straight in the car starkers if catastrophic?

It is fairly rare to get a call, what happens is an incident occurs, say a truck rollover, the Fire service rings the pollution hotline, then they ring the on call incident response person, they can be any where in the state, they asses if we need to go out, if they are nearby they will go if required, if they are not close they call the regional on call person for the area. But if you actually get a call you usually do need to rush off ASAP

makes sense.

Everyone wants to complain about every event - I'd like to see someone stop being a keyboard warrior and run the club.

That will never happen. This is an on going issue, not just with this club. Most of the people who whine have no intention of being involved with the club in any meaningful way or attend the events they are whining about. Keep calm and continue down your chosen path.

I know but wouldn't it be nice if the world was Cadbury? It just doesn't look good when people bitch and moan about shot that they don't plan on attending and ruining it for other prospective attendees.

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
