 are you talking about Josh? he's like the ass Class Clown prolly very bright but loves being the center of attention....

who made you??? i'll come over there and :D them

Speaking of class clowns, back in one of my History class’s at high school, this poor kid was named Marco, my god it got to the stage were the teacher stopped calling Marco’s name on the roll as some jackass and his mates yelled POLO everytime.

It was funny, when your 17.

I’m not “dumb/stupid”, I just make poor decisions which lead to situations that could have been avoided.

Lee, dad had a royal whinge about the hight of my car. It was chunking up the driveway from where it laid frame trying to get up it, and was taking chunks out of the concrete slab going into the garage.

Plus, he decided to drive the Porsche up from NSW, so needs LXU55 as a daily until he goes down, meh I have no license I don’t have a huge say in the matter I guess.

What are they like to tune? Link to pretty pics?

Require specialist tuning for best results simply because noone is familiar with them. 2 tuners who are and swear by them are Mark Motson and gavin woods.

Well no, however with no license how I can I go to work, let alone do my job. So technically I’m looking for work closer to home.

I can obviously go back to where I was at anytime.

I’m pretty much over real estate and developments though, I have been for a long time, but wanted to go back to confirm how much I wanted out of the industry. You can earn big money, but you have no life.

I want a fixed salary job that’s 9- 5 Monday to Friday. I’m too old to want to do a trade or something, plus the wage is a joke, and I can't live on something so small

I surrendered my license to avoid a set time ruled by the courts and the Police. I surrendered it before court, thus court never went ahead as I no longer held a license.

In theory I can get the minium suspension time, wether the paper work goes through is another thing as no one ended up going to court.

Even though I self surrendered and don’t hold a license, I have gotten out of what would have been a very long suspension/disqualification.

The fines are huge for driving without a license, I was caught when I was 18 or 19 in one of dad’s car’s, long story short he sued Queensland transport for my license back, I won, they dropped any fines and I agreed not to sue damage and loss’s which where pretty huge.

And they are definitely all wheel drive.

Only driven by two wheels...they just happen to attach to tracks ha ha

Excavators are also cool but I have never driven one of them...I used to play on our bulldozer on the farm all the time hence my love for them!

Oh yeah for sure, after the apprenticeship the money can and normal is huge. With the shortage within the skilled building trade anyone is going to make good money. Just look at what plumber’s and sparkies charge out an hour!!

I mean the money during the apprenticeship is crap, like first year is something like $220 gross?

Common sense says I live on the Sunshine Coast, should get trade qualified to fall back on, but such a small wage to start with would be a killer.

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
