daisu
I heard problems with fitting S13 strut braces to ceffies because they use an RB engine instead of the SR/CA, something like the intake pipe fouls the strut brace? Correct me if I'm wrong/ Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/119523-a31-suspension-other-parts/page/2/#findComment-2541237 Share on other sites
salad
you have to use an r32 rear brace but s13 front brace fits fine, i guess maybe depending on brand/model etc Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/119523-a31-suspension-other-parts/page/2/#findComment-2541909 Share on other sites

huddy
ok some S13 strut braces fit front - as some dont have the clearance and other designs do... but there are a31 specific ones... rear strut bars - s13 wont fit as the screws in the camber tops are on a different angle. BUT there are ones like the one in my car which are universal for S13 / A31 / 32... (basically just has 6 holes drilled in each strut plate thing. One on a left angle / other straight / other on right angle thing... BDF1663
Since you guys are on this subject. Can someone tell me is there anyway to make the ride height higher if one is using the s13 coilovers on an a31? I put in a set of s13 coilovers on my cefiro but I felt its sitting too low and won't get a lot of clearance on some roads/ramps/speed bumps. But the coilovers currently have been adjusted to the maximum height already! Need help please.... I put in a set of s13 coilovers on my cefiro but I felt its sitting too low and won't get a lot of clearance on some roads/ramps/speed bumps. But the coilovers currently have been adjusted to the maximum height already! Need help please.... There's another thread where this is discussed.... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=145426 I have similar problems... I reckon that being so low looks good, but I do have problems since I can't get over the speed-bump into my apartment complex without the car bottoming-out, and the last time I went to the drive-through carwash I got stuck! here's the suggested fix in that thread.. if there as high as they will go and for some odd reason you want them higher you might want to try to locate a set of helper-springs. Helper springs made my ride height higher, but the more compressed rate of the springs made the back-end of my car extremely jumpy due to the extra spring-loading. I've decided to change my shocks soon.... but helper springs may help your case Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/119523-a31-suspension-other-parts/page/2/#findComment-2754520 Share on other sites
