AlexCim
That catco $440 one from BOSimporting.com.au (the cat pictured above) Yes, that dump is very nice. I am sooo tempted to cut and weld the bottom of it off to make a screamer pipe. Its perfect for a screamer pipe... but mm, na Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/122282-stagea-exhausts/page/3/#findComment-2270379 Share on other sites
EGA41T
EGA - that cat/dump is the same as mine. It is made by BTMBL or least is IDENTICAL to the one that he made me. I wouldnt be surprized if he supplied UAS. no they get them from the catco distributor Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/122282-stagea-exhausts/page/3/#findComment-2271629 Share on other sites

FLYSLY
Is there going to be much of a gain between the stainless one and the mild one like EGA`s one? Just wondering if im just better off getting the mild one? Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/122282-stagea-exhausts/page/3/#findComment-2272056 Share on other sites
AlexCim
mild/stainless dont produce perforance gains based just on material, only longevity. However, it will take a long time for rust to go through a 1mm pipe.... as you have a highflow, you cannot use the stainless on anyway, you need a split dump/front pipe with a splitter in it, not the pipe extension. fergo308
No such thing as boost cut, the ECU has no way of knowing what the boost is. cheers So I guess the factory MAP sensor that's connected to the intake is just there for show, and the cut out my engine hits at exactly 1.0kg of boost is all in my head huh? you do know we're talkin about the SII Neo engines don't you? the older 33-based engines might not have one,but the neo sure as hell does. ask anyone who works on R34's and they'll know about it. wolverine
both R33 and R34 based engines use AFM's unless you have removed it. the factory ECU bumps it into rich and retard as stated previously. (SK has more than passing knowledge of Neo's, personally i wouldn't be tossing grenades that might get thrown back) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/122282-stagea-exhausts/page/3/#findComment-2275982 Share on other sites
