Hi ppls

Well, as some of you may or may not know, I have resigned from my job where I am, and will be finishing up today.

I will be without my PC for a little while, but will be using my partners machine whenever I can.

This will mean that I will go quiet online for a week or so, but rest assured that I have all the information and designs sorted (mostly)

I will be having a couple of weeks off, in which time I will be able to compile all the required radiator guides and get things sorted and send them out.

Please trust that even though I wont be online often, I WILL send these out as soon as I can.

If anybody has any concerns or questions, please e-mail them too me or PM, or post in this thread.

[email protected]

Thanks for your patience and I will follow through shortly for you.

Pete, Hope you are back on line soon. I cant wait to bolt up the guide to finish that bit off.

Let us know when you are back on...

Hi Pete, sorry I'm only new to sau... Is there any chance of still getting in on this GB?

If so, could I get black with scoop for Series2 with engraving? I can transfer funds asap.

Hey ppls.

I'm back on board now and have a bunch of samples to check.

I'd like to meet up with a Series I R33 GTS-T and a Series II, and a Series I Stagea too.

I thikn Wednesday night at my place would be great, I'm in Doncaster east.

Please PM me is you are able to come and help me out by trial fitting one to your car.

PM me your mobile number and we can organise things.

I wasn't able to do the test fit last week as I had no access to the net.

Cheers

Pete

Hey ppls,

Wagon is coming over tonight to trial fit the final design for the Series I Stags.

Hopefully all will be well with them and I can start cutting ASAP

Thanks for your patience

Hey ppls.

Well, I checked out the guide on Wagons car on Wednesday night, all the time chuckling at his “OVLOV” number plates.

Everything fits up nice, I’ve added a cut out for the stock horn and mount for stock trans oil cooler which I had not seen on other cars.

This will be enough to begin the manufacture of the Stagea Series I guides, so I will send the order for them today.

I will also send the sample I have done of the Series II guide to Canberra where a couple of you can fit them to your cars and let me know what does and what does not fit.

Cheers

Hey Bass, i"ve got a bigger cooler for my A/T that I got from Alex. Whats the drift with this type of cooler?

If you used the standard bracket as SK did, it will fit,

I have the same one, used the standard bracket.

Im assuming alex removed his standard bracket because he moved the tranny cooler from memory.

    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
    • EMU Classic. For what I need it to do I see no reason to upgrade. Link and Haltech would both cost an extra chunk of money for a lot of unutilized features
