track use? just use something thin like 5w40 mobil 1 and replace it after each day. brake fluid motul rbf 600 is the thing. coolant use any high glycol coolant they are all similar maybe look into water wetter if you have temp problems. for a gtr use any synthetic atf for transfer case. and any old PSF for ATTESA, power steer and clutch.

Well im currently using Motul 300V 5-30, it worked great even after doing 30laps or so on the last track day..just thinking should i go with the 10-40 instead or maybe consider royal purple or redline...i just read the thread "the goods on oils" in the general maintainence section and yeah it has given me great insight into engine oils...im already using RBF600 and yeah it is awesome..the other brake fluid i was recommended was castrol xrf, but apprarently RBF600 has the highest dry n wet boiling point in the market. Gearbox oil im running redline shockproof and no complains abt it at all...

I'm more of searching into coolant, clutch fluid and yeah fer the transfer case...my temps were very healthy on the track as i run almost all cooling components like oil cooler and alum GT radiator etc...was looking into getting a transmission cooler fer the gearbox though..any insight on that?

I dont quite get wot u mean by old PSF fer attesa, clutch and power steer though...

I'd stay with the Motul 300V. That stuff was designed for track use and is a very good choice. I'd probably go with the 10W40 next time to keep the viscosity loss at bay when the oil gets real hot and also for added protection.

For coolant you could just run straight demineralised water with Redline Water Wetter. Corrosion protection, highest thermal transfer.

For the transfer you could go synthetic like Redline ATF or Castrol's Transmax Z if the transfer case spec's Dexrol III (which I believe it is)

    • Yes the gear for the R33/34 is different, it is red and has a different number of teeth. My part didn't come with that gear though, so I don't know how many teeth are on the red one. You'd have to reuse the 260RS/R33 gear, as long as it's not destroyed.   Haha, as unfortunate as that might be it was working fine for about the first 1500km I've had the car for now.
    • Update all   thanks to the workshop manual, it lead me back to checking fuses as mentioned central locking and door open lights worked when acc was switched on. diagram attached shows two points of power 1. ACC and 2.  Batt with the later being fused (#28) I did check the fuses using a multimeter but I must have stuffed that up also. Went back and checked the batt fuse in interior fuse box and you wouldn’t believe it… a blown fuse. replaced fuse and everything is now working as it should including the climate control   thank you all with your positive insight and knowledge.
    • Where is the warning "That this thread is super old"   I just went into a 5 year old thread, went to do a reply, and couldn't see anywhere obvious a warning of it being super old
    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.
