Tommmo
Hey guys, Ive got a 1995 r33 GTS-T Just wondering if anyone has come across a similar broblem as mine.... the car dirves fine for a few minutes, then out of nowhere loses most of its power, the revs drop between 500-1000rpm during idle and it seems like its hunting! Then 2 minutes later it will be fine again and drive as good as new?!! I've been told it could be anything from a faulty injector/fuel pump/spark plug/coil/airflow meter! I dont want to go changing all these parts as obviously all of them cant be faulty! (i hope) does anyone have any advice as to what it might most likely be? mr_crust
sounds like a vaccum leak , during idle if fluctuates thats normally the cause , check all you cooler piping also how old are your spark plugs? Have you gapped your spark plugs to 1.1mm or if boosted 0.8mm? Tommmo
sounds like a vaccum leak , during idle if fluctuates thats normally the cause , check all you cooler pipingalso how old are your spark plugs? Have you gapped your spark plugs to 1.1mm or if boosted 0.8mm? yep all the piping is secure and its running standard boost (never been boosted) i've purchased a S2 airflow meter... as ive been told that is the most probable cause! I will let you know if it fixes the problem. thanks Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/124015-problems-with-my-r33/#findComment-2290934 Share on other sites
