yup still got the stickers.. just didn't post them here cos i thot pple only wanted nismo stuff, this being a skyline forum... were meant for my old car but nvr stuck them on... the windshield banner is not shown cos i can't get a good pic... it's basically "Racing Development" in black on top with the letters "TRD" in white below... looks good over red vinyl...

here's a pic of what the windshield banner looks like (red vinyl backing not supplied)... black round TRD epoxy can go in place of the Toyota ellipses and just behind the front wheels... red rectangular TRD vinyl may not be visible on a car with a similar color... email me if u need to know anything else, i dun wanna get done for doing non skyline and non technical stuff here :burnout:

i broke into this car trying to hoping to find some loose change but couldn't find any so i decided to steal the car instead.. but the security system on the car was so good i couldnt start it up quick enuff so i just decided to steal the security system... i'm selling it now

okok sorry for that crap... i'm not sure what it retails for in australia, but that's the price i paid for overseas... it was supposed to go into my previous car which i only had for less than half a yr and nvr got around to installing it...

i have a recaro phone holder like the above, and it holds phones good, if they are small, i used to have a 3310, and that wast oo big for it, however my new 8310 fits nicely.. so yeah, i just thought i would give you a little insite into the size, coz i dont wnat you buying one and being disspointed

GTST, thanks but nah, $100 will see it go back on the car when i sell it...

with regards to boxcar's feedback about bigger phones and the holder, it'll take nokia 3series phones, but the weight of them means that the holder needs to be mounted on a flat surface with the supplied adhesive base as it'll be too heavy hanging off the aircon vents...

    • If you take the top half of the intake off you can unbolt the flap off the shaft and leave the shaft in there blocking the hole. Then you can remove the little vacuum canister off from under the manifold and get a spare vacuum line to run to the ECU. I can take some photos of it later. Probably best to get the vacuum source to the ECU sorted first though. Mine all worked mint with the base map from the GTT an I've pretty much let the closed loop sort the fueling and took 1 degree out of the whole timing map.
    • This IS something you also have to configure in Haltech (or at least I did in the past when going from onboard-to-ECU map sensor and an external MAP sensor in haltech land).
    • I'm hoping it's something as simple as the ECU is looking for an external MAP sensor, but he is trying to use the onboard MAP sensor.
    • You won't need to do that if your happy to learn to tune it yourself. You 100% do not need to do that. It is not part of the learning process. It's not like driving on track and 'finding the limit by stepping over the limit'. You should not ever accidently blow up an engine and you should have setup the ECU's engine protection to save you from yourself while you are learning anyway. Plenty of us have tuned their own cars, myself included. We still come here for advice/guidance/new ideas etc.  What have you been doing so far to learn how to tune?
    • Put the ECU's MAP line in your mouth. Blow as hard as you can. You should be able to see about 10 kPa, maybe 15 kPa positive pressure. Suck on it. You should be able to generate a decent vacuum to about the same level also. Note that this is only ~2 psi either way. If the MAP is reading -5 psi all the time, ignition on, engine running or not, driving around or not, then it is severely f**ked. Also, you SHOULD NOT BE DRIVING IT WITHOUT A LOAD REFERENCE. You will break the engine. Badly.
