G day guys

I just had the pleasure of purchasing one of these splended jap imports (R33 GTST auto). However as i am getting a bit long in the tooth these days, 69 years infact. I have had the discomfort of a hearing aid for some time now. Geting to the point anyhow, the reverse beeping alarm rackett that carrys on when i place the transmission in R for reverse is very loud and sensitive to my hearing aid. I would like to know if any of you young chaps could help me out with a solution to stoping this noisey rackett I would be one happy senior citizen.

:D

If you dont want to get your hands dirty, I'd recommend going to an auto electrician who could source the noise and end the buzzers life rather promptly! Otherwise the only other way would be to source the noise yourself, and destroy whatever is making the sound.. Be warned though, the same buzzer is probably used for the headlight warning when you open the door, so you may lose this fuctionality by killing the buzzer. I dont have an auto so im not sure.

I dont think there is any -easy- way to do it other than to find the source of the noise and disable it!

Let us know if you find the buzzer, and also where it lives, as my headlight buzzer is rather annoying also. I wouldnt mind disabling it as it's more of an annoyance to me than a convenience!
