Hi everyone,

Bought a trust oil cooler with thermo. and relocation kit for a gtr33

On the side of the box it has ecn32 as a stock code.

Has the supplier gave me the wrong one?

Gave it to a reputable mob in Campbellfield ,who said ther was no room to fit it at the front right

I said i had never seen a GTR with it there ,always seen it at the front left.

I was then told the hose was to short for that.

Anyway after speaking to the supplier, was told the guys who tried fitting it were hopeless, and that the

oil- lines had to go under the engine(Tight fit).

Anyone know who can fit this for me.......desperate to install.

Thanks ;)

depends which one you have, most Trust cooler will fit between the radiator and intercooler, and some other ones will fit on the drivers side guard.

Only the HKS ones will fit on the passenger side.

whats the part no.

im sure we can fit it for, maybe might need longer hoses.

I dont have the cooler with me at the moment.

It is at work, but will post up the part no. tommorrow ;)

Thanks for the reply

The trust cooler that fits BCNR33 is mounted on the driver's side. In saying that they do not allow fitment with stock blow off valves, they are designed for cars with Trust Type-R single blowoff valve..

I know this as I tried fitting it and realised there is no room for both stock blow off valves and oil cooler core. The instructions also show a pic of a trust type-r blowoff valve in place of the stock ones...

Basically you will have to get it modified and custom fitted to retain standard blowoff valves, definetly go see Ray (SXR), he'll be able to sort it out for you....

Ok then.....yippi for Italy :D

The code...hand written for the cooler reads........S.BNR32-10IF

No instructions found in the box

From that code you have given its obviously for a R32GTR, is it a 10 row oil cooler?? If it is then it should be mounted behind the radiator.. It should be a 16 row oil cooler to be side mounted.. You should also been supplied with brackets and air deflectors if it is a side mount....

Either way it can be modified to fit your car.....

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
