Damn thats cheap for a car allready in the country.

Looks hot to, like the kit.

Wish i could add another car to the garage with out getting divorced.

I love the car mate just out of interest why dont the rules allow for these to be registered? Is it pollution... such a shame to see a beautiful car like good for nothing but thrashing around a race track :(

i brought a 94fd3s for $5500 a few years ago imported for race/rally.

i wrecked mine out and made well over $10,000

there are ways u can register it, but u need to know the loop holes and u also need to live in adelaide.

$8000 is still very cheap as this S6 looks to be a hamberger with the lot.

Loop holes? if its a legal loop hole id like to know how;)

The only 94 models i saw for under $6000 landed are stock ones with engines in need of rebuild

im pretty sure you can get them registered legally, but its alot of f*cking around, and cost wise i dont know if it will be much cheaper than buying one and importing it under the normal rules.

If the information i have is correct the reason you cant register it is because these cars were sold here from factory, unless it was some special version that is a lot different from what was sold here then it cant be registered, the only way to register it is to change the id to a later model fd.

But im guessing there is some way around it as a mate of mine has an imported S6 that some one was able to register at some time.

couldn't u just transfer everything into a shell of another s6?

To do that you would have to use a australian delivered S6, there are not a whole heap of them getting around and no doubt the ones that are out there are well sort after for that exact reason, spend $5000 on a shell, $10,000 on a race only import, put in a bit of work and you have doubled your money.

http://www.carpoint.com.au/car-review/ce6790.aspx

As stated in that article there were only a couple of hundred S6's imported, most about 10 or so years ago, racing and owners with too much ego and not enough talent has taken its toll.

7g is a bargain, engine, gearbox and diff would get you 5g or more of that back if you wrecked it, or keep the engine and gearbox for a project and you would pretty much make your money back on everything else, if you have time and space this is a great buy.

i have an aus spec series 6 that i have taken a small crash to the rear quarter. if i was to part it out the going rate on the shell and vin number would be alot more then $5,000

also rotory engines are hard to sell cause they go "pop" very easily

AS for this series 6 i suggest someone grab there cams licens buy this car and go nutz.....FD's are the bomb on the track

So your tellin me that once you have taken everything of value off the car and only had the shell with tags left on it, no diff, suspension, steering, hanging panels, glass or anything else you would want a lot more than 5g for it......... i hope you like holding onto things for a long time, or maybe your just saying this because you have made an offer.....

popeye132 if you havnt already put it on Ausrotary much better chance of selling than on a skyline forum.

    • A 1.5 way is a 2 way. It is just a 2 way with a less aggressive ramp on overrun.
    • The ABS and/or TCS being missing/broken will not cause the engine to misbehave. It just casues CEL to come on and annoy you. The CEL is useless if it is always on, so you have to do the things you have to do to get rid of it, so it can be useful. Being a Stag ECU, then yes, it will not expect TCS to be present. But it will expect ABS to be present and working. You will need to either make the ABS CU talk to the ECU (don't ask me what that will take on an NA R34), and make sure the hardware is working....or, you just need to blank it out in Nistune. Do not persist with the stock ECU. You will just have problems. Gte it Nistuned. Start from there. DO YOU HAVE A BOOST SENSOR? The ECU's boost sensor that it. It is connected to the loom at the rear of the coil cover. Usually rides on the firewall on an R34, but is usually bolted down to a bracket along with all the other crap at the back of the coil cover when a Neo is dropped into another car. If you do not have it, the ECU will shit the bed. So, do you have one?
    • So sadly the fuel pump etc was not it. The pump and filter is new and it is still cutting around 4000 rpm. A read something about ABS/TCS (engine is from stagea and ECU too so no TCS) and i dont know for 100% that my car has ABS. It has ABS "cube" in engine bay but i dont think it works(or at least from my braking experience). Can be something like that?  I will be driving the car next week to Nistune tuner to properly see what is wrong...
    • the Tomei LSD fluid with lsd kit. frustrated that it was shaking the car to crap and affecting everything else negatively, I pulled the diff last night, and removed the lsd carrier, could not find anything wrong, however it seem to be 100 locked up acceleration, and deacceleration, wondering if they sent me a 2 way not a 1.5??  either way I installed the stock open carrier back in place. test drove everything smooth as butter again. no shake, shutter, random, what felt like clutch slip and grab or drive shaft play, etc. something differently wrong in side the lsd. I might bother taking it apart (if possible) to figure out what's going on inside this carrier, as bought too long ago to return.  only draw back is its back to a one wheel wonder.
