Hey guys

I have a HKS SSQV, it is the newest style refer below picture. The valve is currently on my R33 GTS-T.

However I am going through a series of upgrades atm and want to return to a legal setup due to the current upgrade requiring a mod plate so i need it to be 100% legal. So plumbback is the best way to go and turbosmart offer the product i want. I do need a plumb back bov which can flow some massive air...

Im after a turbo smart bov of the following model number;

FG-BOV-003PB38 – (38mm outlet) RRP $299

This is a picture of the valve im after. I would prefer the 38mm version.

What im after is either a swap for the turbosmart valve listed above or $350 for the ssqv bov postage included anywhere in Australia. Yes you do get the all the bits need to fit it to a R33 cross over pipe.

I do have recipts for $670 for the valve and fitting kit.

This is NOT a chinese copy and has only been on my car for about 7000km's.

Please post here or PM.

Cheers Col

hey buddy

i'd take it off ur hands... however i've got a sr20.. and not sure how it'd go fitting it to my car

You would need to buy the fitting kit for an Sr20 which is like 100 bucks...

I'd like to talk to you about buying the BOV Col. I have questions and would like to test it first also.

Dave

Yeah no worries mate... Can do for you...

  • 2 months later...

Col i have a mate that bought that model bov for his s13 but never ended up fitting it - i'm not sure but he might still have it, i'll find out for you.

Bump... Last one in this condition sold for $420 on this very forum only 2 weeks ago...

BARGIN

EDIT: Im going to keep this now, as i found out there is a plumb back adapter for it, which will make it the best plumb back bov on the market. Being that it is a pull type valve and cannot leak under high boost...

    • Brooooo Please send ABS control unit schematic Please! R33 gts25t ABS (Its two plug ecu, black and white) wire colors possible? [email protected]
    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
