R33 GTS/S

Non Turbo RB25

Manual

Couldn't get a colour code i think its because its a non turbo... same as the guy a couple of posts above the vin no. won't recognise had to use model number.

Thankyou, You've put my mind at rest about it being a auto converted to manual, glad it's factory manual at least haha.

R33 GTST Type M

Manual

Color field is empty as i believe there is something wrong with your vin.

Cheers lanky, finally got their in the end :D

ahwell..

(also the car is white, but i have a suspicion its been resprayed from black)

thanks again lanky + the othes who helped

i may have missed it, but is this FAST check limited to skylines only or can s13's be fasted?

Yea I'd say so ....mine is givn me lists of parts 4 s13z

whats ya vin someone will fast it

not quite a VIN request guys, but i'm in need of FAST so thought i'd post it here.

i have what i believe to be an r32 gts-t wastegate actuator.

it has "ASN 79 - 24 *something* 525" on it.

can anyone confirm if this is the correct part number? or what the number for an r32 gts-t actuator is?

thanks a lot

nissan part no.z are usually something like 14483-04U05, I think the 32s had at least 3 different actuators (can't read Jap,sorry)

if you are after the program 4 yourself I'd suggest you google :- 70F6451B09CD69E8758A32264323C8E85CD74910

hope this helps some

I only get yours to work when entering the model number then vin no. but its a general info like ones mentioned above no colour code info.

Just to double check it gave me right info October 1993 built?

I always though it was 9/93 so Oct sounds correct. How do you mean entering model THEN Vin no ? Im new to Fast sorry.

I have to enter ECR33 , then tab to next box and enter the number XXXXXX to get it to work, do you mean this or something else ?

Gary

This is the only date i have on the car, the importers plate.

thanks mate, but are you sure on the colour? Mine is Midnight Purple....

????

yea preety sure, mine is the same color KH2 ( looks gunmetal grey with red and blue 'perl'), the color code is actually on the compliance plate(firewall one, not import plate)), just above the engine type, RB26DETT . See port #1713, his paint code is KH2. This will confirm FAST info, and if the cars has changed color. KH2 is also refered to as gunmetal grey sometimes

PS midnight purple is a rare colour, price me thinks, codes are

LP2 (R33)Midnight Purple (no Chromalusion, has 2 pearl tinters Violet & Red)

LV4 (R34)Midnight Purple II (Chromalusion Tinter KK760 Absolute Purplene & Vilot Pearl)

LXO (R34)Midnight Purple III (Chromalusion Tinter KK700 True Blazberry Prizm & 2 pearls red & Violet)

see Here for ALL the Paint codes

    • From my youth: GTi-R clutch change is a massive pain. The gearboxes are fragile? But the car is super cool and I want one 😢
    • Remember this is 1988 tech.
    • Driveline vibration is resolved. I ended up loosening all my engine mount and trans mount bolts, giving it a good shake then retightening everything and it's gone... Let's just say I was surprised that fixed it.  I've been happily driving it around again but unfortunately put zero time into my direct port/constant pressure WMI setup. I'm on vacation next week, so I'll try and finalize it then.  On a different note, I spent all week fuel/ignition mapping 2x 216L V16 engines. Turbo's were burning glycol and we swapped them out for larger units. We also had planned emissions testing on site, so I figured I'd be there the same week to use their instrumentation and massage any emissions issues out if needed. This was a first for me. Fuel management is similar in certain ways to automotive (i.e air density as load variable) but very different in others. It's all PLC based and AFR's are controlled by air and not fuel. They use a control valve between the turbo and air manifold to control pressure which in turn controls AFR's. Due to this, target AFR tables supplied by the OEM are in pressures and not mass which really through me off. They use air pressure vs fuel pressure tables. I also relied on an O2 concentration sensor the emissions team had in the exhaust. Ignition timing was also all over the place and we were losing a fair bit of power. They're now happily sitting at 16-40BTDC depending on load. We were making about 1600kw at 900rpm at 90% load. Engines were running a lot smoother as well.
    • heh, aint no R32 ever meeting modern targa cage rules unless the driver is veeeery short OP, good luck with the sale, since its already in the land of freedom I'm sure you will find a good buyer.
    • meh, it was a good video, clear about the issue and how he dealt with it. A bit heavy on the RTV and very brave to put an RB in anything without rebuilding it first, but otherwise I thought it was good Dose, I'm not sure that having the pickup forward is a big issue; yes of course the oil could shift under brakes but the sump should never be empty enough for that to be a problem (unless you also have a higher volume oil pump, and that oil can't return from the head to the sump quickly enough)
