Recommended Posts

:P

no i didnt get owned by a ford.

about 2 weeks ago (before i found out i was gonna get a free respray) i had a dream... in this dream i was me and and the grass was green.

in this dream i had a car... symbolically the car looked nothing like a skyline but it "was" :D

in this dream i decided my car needed a respray and as such dipped into my pot of dream gold and and got my car resprayed...

in this dream i had a dream about the colour i wanted... this colour was like non i had seen before and very different... an orange colour... very bright... fluro even... not like ur everyday orange... almost like agent orange but not... not really metalic... and what looked like a white pearl through it... i had never seen this colour before on a car....

UNTIL I SEEN THESE!!!!!!

mofos...

lol chinny

yeah im going to do my bro in laws bosses website and geta respray out of it... i want this colour but i dont know if i will be able to get a respray in this colour... i might leave the engine bay black and have a few bits on the kit black too... make it look like its meant to be like that hahaha

you know what the biggest bitch about buying a car that you dont know the paint code of. The fact that when you wanna change the front bar, put some skirts on, or if just have an accident, the paint always comes out a shade different.

i bought my car (see avatar), and the colour matching for the spoiler when i had to get a new one cause it broke, was not spot on. the mixture the guy made up for the paint is unknown. It sometimes looks a bit yellowy/greeny when the sun is setting.

yeah but thats cause he doesnt have a paint code... i have a paintcode ;) and yellow is a C$%^ of a colour anyway... we always had trouble mixing yellows to be the same even with a paintcode (i used to be a panelbeater/paint prep)

website for a respray..... SCORE!!!!!!!! shit, wanna pass on any other websites?? i could do with some extra money for the Skyline Saver (yes that's the name i called my IGN account, got a problem! ;):)) - or if ya need any design help ni, i'd be happy to lend a hand. Not very good at the coding/behind the scenes stuff.

ah dude... SCORE!!!

    • They are in fact just nozzles. They are there only to produce a spray pattern and limit flow. The injector itself is what I use to control flow to the 7x nozzles. My old system had no injector and only PWM the pump. This lead to a lot of inconsistencies, and poor atomization at low pressure when the pump was ramping up.
    • With the system, once you drive it for a bit, and before you turn the car off, does the car fix its date and time? When you say the date is wrong, what date does the vehicle think it is, and does it always show the same date? My thoughts from a process driven view is; The system may be defaulting to a standard start date/time. The main reason you'd typically see this occuring, is the system is losing its constant/backup power supply.   If its always defaulting to the same date/time at start up, and especially if it fixes itself while driving, I'd say either the non volatile memory has an issue, or the power supply to the volatile memory that stores this information.   The other thing I'd check is if there is anywhere in the system you can adjust the date and time from. If the date/time is still moving forward since it wished you happy new year, then it is 100% possible the system has just had a bit of data corruption occur, and you likely need to find a way to reset the date/time in the vehicle.
