...hehe.. mikGTR - but many people don't thats the thing.. i'm always getting people ask if mine is a GTR just because they don't know there is actually such thing as a GTS-T.

anyway, a lot of people like to associate themselves with something they can't have or afford.. its just the way marketing is these days.

as its been said, dont try and make something it aint...Ts and Rs are totally different cars, in my opinion

the problem is that some commo hero in his clubsport is gonna race some wanna b R, get bitch slapped in the race and that commo driver is gonna go back to his wife and kids and say "hey love, i raced a GTR and beat him"

cos he wouldnt know the difference between the two

have respect for the person that forked out the extra ~$30k on a more refined car

personally, if i owned an R id be might pissed off, much like that tuesday morning down princess

me gtst

some tosser infront of me ina GTR badged/three spoke GTSt

a behind me was a R33 GTR

stopped at the lights, i look over at the GTR owner and smile and point at the tosser in the GTSt with a the GTR badge

he laughed, i laughed, that GTSt boy left in shame

most gts-t unless they're bog stock can own most things on the road even if they only have got the one poor turbo :P most don't bother anymore, they don't like knowing a 20k car with most of the same options, looks, and power as their 50k-70k car exists.

well I won't go in specifics, but its obvious who the "type" of gtr badged t owners are but if they're happy doing that then let them be. They never drive fast anyway.

Overall however, i agree with what wardest said

haha yeah it looks similar to GTR Badge

seen them sell at rice shops including the GTR badge

i want a gtst badge for my boot

like the gold/silver one that you find on 4door lines

i dun have anything to clarify that it is a T at the back

    • This is kind of what I expected given the use case. I took my liners out for track days too.... It makes me consider just getting a diffuser and not bothering with the arch liners themselves. For the most part I would like to avoid water/mud/jank splashing up from under the car onto the bottom of the engine, lines, wiring, etc etc. (but brake ducts are cool too). Especially given this post on SAU here: Where it's implied you have to cut them because the actual tub is different? Which is pretty damn worrying because that is where the liners rub in a GTR with wider wheels... I definitely won't want to pay $2000 for plastic then cut them up. It also means said wider wheels rub on the tub in a GTT? FML. That said, I have found some evidence someone ran a 295/30/18 without scrubbing these liners. (and by extension.. the tub).
    • Would be good in your car I reckon Johnny. Have seen reports they don't seem to love circuit use and sustained high RPM, but there's so many variables and implementations it's hard to tell fact from fiction.  All that said, is it worth it in this car given how you feel about it? Probs not?
    • I don't know specifically. I *do* know that it is very likely that historically most/all undertray replacements remove the inner liners and people just run without them. When you are hectic (or serious) enough to really want/need a different undertray, you are probably also running wider, taller or different offset wheels and the guard liners are the first thing that rub (or as I said in the other thread, they blow out at high speeds anyway) Of course, that is before the pricing went nuts on R34s, nowdays it is much more likely people want/expect to retain the liners to protect their overall investment
