Hi everyone. Ive recently installed a JUN FRP bodykit on my R33 skyline, after going to get a wheel allignment today i found that the allignment machine wouldnt read a meausrement on the front??? apparently im told that this is due to the front bar being too low?? does this sound normal? the front bar is similat dimension to a 400R front? i really dont want to remove it and reinstall it just to get the wheels alligned? im thinking i should try a different allignment shop?? any thoughts appreciated.

cheers

Sam.

if the bar is too long the string that connects to the 2 front wheel alignment heads touch the kit and put the reading out. you have to go somewhere that has a better wheel alignment machine that uses lasers instead of strings

The alignment machine I use at work runs on lazers, and yes if the front bar is too low, the lazers cannot reach the other heads, the front bar can get in the way, this is a normal problem, we normally ask people to remove the front bar for us to align it in situations like that, not too many places in Adelaide that I know of that can align a car with a really low front bar.

would you be able to name somewhere that u know of that can? im reluctant to remove the bar because its not an easy task to remove and replace.

thanks
