Hi Guys an Girls,

My names Joel an im starting a little interior painting bussiness at home,

I have done some of my interior(still unfinished) an others an all have turned

out with great results, i use good quility materials an paints no dodgy work at

all, I learnt how to paint throug my dad as he is a panel beater(retired lol) now, this

is something I enjoy doing. So if anyone is intrested in there interior being painted

just contact me by PM's or by mobile(numer will be listed below).

The method i use in painting interior takes quite some time but its worth it in the end.

First i sand back the part an clean it with a substance(cant tell yas wat) an it gets plastic an or

Vinal primered, then under coated, sanded again, then undercoated, then sanded etc... then its

ready for the paint.

I can paint, dashes, door trims, center consoles, basiclly anything that has a vinal surface,

an that is plastic. I will post some pics of my Inrerior as soon as i get my camera back.

If ur intrested, contact me an we can work out a price an paint colours etc...

Number is 0406279345.

Name: Joel. :whistling:

I'm interested in getting my R33 interior painted.

Just on the bits with the rubberish feeling plastic coating. This includes power window plastic, dash, ashtray and gear surround.

What type of paint do you use and what colours do u have?

PM me ur price also...thanks!

Jason

Same as above, for r33 parts (dash, ashtray, gearsurround, window switch surround) removed and delievered to you - for painting in gloss black, with some sort of gloss clearcoat if possible.. please PM quote.

Much the same, I have a spare dash surround and gearboot surround that I want prepped and painted. PM a price for these two items and time it would take and I'm in!!

No offence, but its an unpaid ad... It either goes, or all others stay. Dont mean to tell you mods how to do your job, but its that simple.
Very Harsh Dave!!!! But you are correct. Give the lad a few days and then Squish his ambition like a tiny tiny bug.

thanks guys for the support, much appreciated, but wat do u mean its an unpaid ad?

plz pm me

Advertisements for any kind of business or sales must go in the Classified Section of the Forum.

If you are selling anything or any service, it has to go there so as not to clutter up the main forum area.

You are new and will be forgiven but a Mod will move the whole topic into the correct area soon.

At which point its going to have to be deleated as your a business that isnt paying for advertising space, where others are. They can get shirty and stop advertising.

And Dave the reason for being harsh is other ads last 30secs and they are gone. Consitancy!

oh c'mon be nice on the poor guy..

what if i started a thread saying

"hey i got my interior painted by this guy... check out his work or PM him if you want to get yours done there"

that wouldn't be against rules, i would just be sharing my experiences with everyone...

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
