I don't mind teh occasional intently done aforementioned 'spelling mistake' as long as it's done to someone who knows the meaning behind it and who gets intarwebz humour.

And you can't pick on pwnd. Seriously man.

Agreed it's fine as the occasional rip on teh internetz..but carry it into rl and I think you've got issues.

omg i is pwnin meself ;) rofl

the fact that cadel evans has zero chance of winning le tour next year

argh

It's not over, or in this case, it hasn't yet begun, until the overly rotund female has musically voiced her thoughts... Don't right him off!

2nd Bullet32: WTF? Are you serious?

I think burkill is from another state and is confused with us having a similar thread in ACT forums. Shhhhh we'll let him live in his little world, we don't want him to wake up to the rest of us just yet.

Here's one for you to ponder: utes, pickups, Fairlanes... in fact anything that isn't actually a Mack truck having the big, chrome Bulldog on the bonnet. AND the driver carrying on like they're driving and 18 wheeler. Don't worry people, they don't brake very much, nor use indicators, and really SHOULD sit right on your rear bar because, goddamnit, they are CLEARLY bulk freight drivers, just in a scaled down Mack... King of the road? Farkin' idiot.

People that lose any form of self control when they get stuck behind a slower vehicle than them with multiple lanes around.

Yesterday, we were heading out to Civic from Kings Avenue (2 lanes all the way) and my girlfriend was driving in the left lane doing around 75km/h (she is very cautious when she is driving with others in the car). For the whole time from Kings Av up to the roundabout to turn off to the convention centre, she was tailgated by some loonatic even though he could have overtaken without any dramas. He then proceeded to overtake and then brake test us for another 500m and signalling to pull over.

I spent the next 30 minutes trying to convince the girl that it wasn't a personal attack.

People need to chill out on the road. Seriously.

sitting down in great anticipation of Top Gear only to realise it was on LAST night because despite being the first day of the working week today is Tuesday!

Arrrrghhhh!

I laughed so hard for a split second - then realised I missed it too. Sh!t

I watched it. You didn't miss much guys. The usual race across the country 750 miles long and only one fuel tank... And they also had the Bugatti Veyron on with the new Zonda... Bugatti won in the drag but the Zonda was quicker round the track.

oh..and panel beaters /spray painters that walk away from a job declaring it finished when a blind man adept at braille could tell things aren't 100% right in the fit/finish area.

the inevitability of going back is infuriating when you know they play the 'hope he doesn't notice / care' game right from the start.

tossers.

    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
