I managed to get 6 tickets

3 ordered from ticketmaster (would of been seating but they f**ked up and everything was hectic) and 3 from a ticket agent, just in case.

So, i MAY have spare..... (wouldnt sell them at ebay prices though)

Edited by doxximus

saw them last time they were here, wow..........

eric clapton coming as well... damn shows are expensive these days... would love to see tool but i don't think the $ are going to allow....

I got eric clapton tickets from the presale the other day... don't know if that was an impulse buy or not though..

Chilly Willies tickets go on presale tommorow... I am SOOOO in... :) Does anyone know if there's going to be a chilli bowl this time?

foz, how much u pay mate? i didn't want "in-the-rafters" seats, so checkd out the gold package for visa customers, $200+ something... but didn't give seat #'s....

i'm soooo tempted but my girl would want to come as well, we're both massive Mayer fans and hence have become big blues fans, saw Buddy Guy at the concert hall... that was awesome  so that's like $400+ (would be a present of sorts, that's some serious $ for a concert) but damn the band! Steve Jordan on drums, Doyle Brahmal (sp) on guitar, nuts!

oh yeah, Tool, they're wic

haha, your the only one on this forum that has similar music tastes to me, and ever since buying his new live album I'm getting more and more into mayer too.

Yeah I paid $100 for the shitty rafters (I think)... I'm still not sure if I really want to go or not, with the chilli peppers tommorow $160, and then trying to save money for car mods and track days and what not I don't know :S... but then maybe I'll never get another chance to see him...

Meh, I'm secretly pissed off that it was stevie ray's helicopter that crashed instead of eric's.........................................

what time does RHCP go on sale? cant find a link anywhere, I appear to be logged in on the site.. thought it would be 9am??

**oh so lame.. visa presale.. undoubtedly all the allocated seats which are sold out, have been sold to scalpers with their shiny visa cards at the ready.. was too worried about my strained shoulder/neck to remember earlier :P

dear god you should see the ticket prices for tool on ebay.. it pisses me off that people can do that. They could probably do it as a f/t job making $300 a day easy.

hahaha i was like "WTF" reading this thread as well.... If they so popular why haven't I heard of them? I must be living in a hole.

What music do you listen to and i'll work out why you havent heard of tool.

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
