i think in the near 4 years ive owned my r33 i've found having 2 doors annoying probably 3 to 4 times. the 4 door models dont look as good as the coupe imho. but its personal perference of course.

I plan to buy an R34. I really dont mind 2dr or 4dr. Obviously, the 4 dr has a bit of convenience with access to the rear seats. But, are there any other main differences? Is the wheel base longer?

2 Door will hold its value better and you will look cooler too :P:D

everyone knows that if you buy a 4 door your cool factor is instantly elevated to that of D1 drifter Nomuken because 34 4doors are just one of the better looking 4 door skyline out there.

So true..

I love my 4 door in saying that i would also like a coupe

Go with what will suit your daily drive..

eg.. do ya have a large family is it your only car are ya after performance so on and so on..

Four door will not retain it's value anwhere near as well as a two-door. They also look slightly awkward.

So far the general feedback is 2drs hold value longer, and they are cooler. I spose its cos there were soooo many 4drs made. I wonder if that will change. I'm living in Japan at the moment and Nomura Ken is fairly popular. He's marketing the "Monkey Magic" brand well through Uras, and I see a lot of 4drs with the D1 kit.

So, in the end.........it does come down to appearance and convenience...?

    • Wanna rewrite all of that in, say, 2 or 3 separate sentences, so that we can read it?
    • Just yesterday the car started to shake a bit when idle. So tomorrow ima test the some wires and packs with the multimeter and see what it is. Hopefully is a pack because thats the easiest thing to buy same day here where I live in the USA.
    • shot myself in the leg and now last night I have shaking when I idle lol
    • I'm not a big fan of the Cometic gaskets either, as above the head and deck need to be like a mirror (can't remember the RA) so Kamieri sounds like a good idea.  FWIW a mate of mine hordes old motor stuff and has some blank unground Nizmo cams for one of these in his supply if random shit if you're interested.
