Hey Wildcat, hyperdrive found that my rear wipers motor for the water spray is the wrong one :/ (it wasn't working, and still isn't )I have no idea why there is a wrong motor in there.

When my S1 arrived the rear washer did not work. The fronts were fine and the same pump is used for both.

The line to the rear wasblocked. You can get to it by removing the rear cover and the rubber gromets in the body and the tailgate. Disconnect the line and pump through and clean nozzle.

If that doesn't clear it and the pump motor works it would have to be the solenoid that opens the pathway for the water, or the line is blocked closer to the pump I have not got a clue where the solenoid is at the moment, but will search if you need more info.

Cheers 66yo. :):nuke:

I think I have stuffed up.lol

I checked again and it seems like there are two motor sounds when both washers are on together. Check and listen. Ifyou can hear the motor work when it should the it could be a blockage at the rear nozzle.

Its quite easy to get to the line via the cover and grommets in the back .

Cheers 66yo :nuke::/

OUCH!!!!!!! Damn you ARE WHIPPED Mr GTST!!!!!!!!

While we are talking rear wipers...

Take a look at the length of mine! I have the fuse removed so it can't be turned on, if it is it just tries to smash the squirter nozzle off tailgate, pretty funny but a little scary at the same time. The wiper arm has Toyota stamped into it so it's wrong in more ways than one!

Anyone have a spare rear wiper arm? Or one they would be happy to part with? I will post a WTB in the trade section but will not be holding my breath...

Cheers

Luke

Far out Munch, thats a bit big... although I have to agree with who ever put it on... piddly little wiper on the back :P

66yo I think the problem is with the motor that runs the water, its the wrong one, The back wiper works and the fronts work with the washers.

I'mTOTALLY confused.

Is it correct to say (1) The front wipers and washers work

(2) The rear wiper works but the washer does not

(3) The rear washer works but the wiper does not

(4) Nothin' f**kin' works?

(5) Caus its pissin pick handles and I forgot to change the HW from solar to electric

we have all had to have cold showers and its buggered my night life.

(6) And if thats not enough the boys and I, successfully fitted a new water pump and

timing belt into a 180.

(7) God is good to NISSAN drivers.

Cheers 66yo. :D:D

how can the rear window washer motor be wrong? surely any washer motor will work with the 2 wires connected. i got both washer motors sitting in my garage doing nuthin (cant fit washer bottle with cooler piping), but i might need them later on. how about buy a new one stagea girl from nissan? they wont be much $$$ i'd imagine.

Yes it was a very easy job...(for the hubby)

Was just a matter of pulling the cap off the wiper arm and tightening the nut...

Little embarrasing after all that worrying to find that it was about a 5minute fix job..but at least now i have a working WINDOW WIPER

:laugh: for everyones help and advice much appreciated

    • Ok I get you. But isn’t the butterfly intake a headache with the +T?  see this is my plan so far but please advise me into the right direction.  Nistune Ecu, 1000cc Bosch injectors, TD05 or TD06 Kinugawa turbo using stock rb25det exhuast manifold, walbro fuel pump unsure of model I think it’s 450/460, spitfire coils and sparks to suit and a R35 MAF sensor and boost sensor.    I was thinking maybe do a cheap eBay plenum $400-500 or try find a stock det neo intake. I think I’d port match it so it’s getting the full capacity but open to advice please.  Thanks
    • The issue now is the 'fuel cut' while driving, and when it happend, it does not stall. This, I did not test the fuel pressure while driving as I cannot with a fuel pressure gauge. I do have Nistune logs, yes. I have also replaced the MAF Sensor.   Also related to the FPG Fuel Hanger – I just realized that I need a Deutsch Crimp Tool to crimp some cables for the FPG Fuel Hanger. Need to purchase additional cables as the kit only included 2, which are for the float. FPG has not responded to my emails so far since purchasing. I thought about taking it to someone and having it done professionally, but I am reluctant since everyone I took it to messed up in some way.
    • There's a good German place in Brisbane if youre up for the drive 😛
    • The German place in Cabramatta was rock solid, fresh pretzel cooked to order back then. Then it went all quiet, after all the poker machines were removed, then I believe it closed for good. I did drive past the other week and noticed outdoor lighting a big screen, but no idea what is there now.
    • Yeah I suspect even if you hold airmass per cycle/cylinder constant if you get too far away from stock you're still going to have problems running the factory tune within the bounds of the factory load scale. Cams, different displacement/rod ratio, etc. I'm just lucky that the GTIII-SS with wastegate boost + CA compliance cats is pretty much equivalent to stock turbos. When I have actual space I can finally get it tuned and modify the fuel system for flex fuel to 100% handle any detonation concerns when cranking the boost to whatever those dinky turbos can put out.
