Midnight Purple R33.

I'm slowly falling in love with the Midnight Purple R33 Skyline GTR. Does anyone know if this was a standard colour or a special edition ? The R32 comes in it as well too don't they.

i've never seen a purple 33T ay. i thought there were 33R's in purple but no T's.

i was told there was a special edition gtr in purple.. got stolen the time i bought my car..

apparently legit ones are very rare... but id assume there would be a fair few resprayed ones

Actually *black* is the absence of all colour/light...

White is the complete saturation of ALL colours (technically the three primary colours, but all colours works just as well)...

I dont think the R32 actually came out in Midnight purple as a standard colour (i could be wrong tho)

im sure ive seen a few with aftermarket paintjobs tho..

But Purple is cooooooolest.

A purple R33 GTR with Do-Luck 18's and dark tints....uuuuummmm, grapey.......

To the best of my knowledge only the R33 GT-R was offered in purple as a standard factory colour.

The only GTS25t offered in purple was a one off 1997 40th anniversary special, this car had the GT-R purple paint, it also had interior fabric trimmed to suit. I've seen a few pictures of one of these, can't remember where though?

Guys it was offered by one of the importers, a little while ago. At a guess it was the cost of the car landed in Australia! ie no compliance, no rego!
