wat about wat wheels they run.. been tryin to find a pair of 15x8's or 15x9's for some slicks for a while now.... havent found any that clear r33 gtst rear calipers

I can't remeber their width, but they're certainly not 9's, more like 7 or 7.5, but we used to run Ford ED/EF factory alloys (Fairmont or XR6 I think) on the blue 33. Might be worth a look mate.

Jambo was an awesome event. As luck would have it our transporter was parked next to Reece's, and the PWR tent backed onto the Kiwi boys tent. When we where packing up on Sun evening got to have a really good chat with Reece his old man and his head tuner and mech. I tell you those guys are clued in and have some serious plans, there limiting factor is NZ tracks so expect to see the car back here very soon.....

I will write a post later with a few of the topics that were discussed....

Congrats to the boys on a massive effort.

    • And now the washer bottle looks like an orphan. You're going to have to spend money on a wrinkle black painted fabbed ally one of those. Oh, and the brake MC res. That won't look any good after you've gotten rid of the washer bottle. You going to need to go back to work to keep up with this?
    • You're going to need all that and more to keep them from rubbing at the rear anyway, is my guess.
    • Looking at it now the battery clamp needs some love..  LOL One day, but not tomorrow, tomorrow I'm strictly a spectator, the only testing for me tomorrow will be on the coffee and food at the Cafe
    • I purchased some (used but new to me) Yokohama A050 Mediums to try out for the first time and fitted them up to one of my sets of Rays TE Fortesst's. Sizes are 235/45R17 front and 255/40R17 rear. They are very chonky compared to the same sized AD09 on the same sized rim. Some fiddling will be needed to make them fit. How much camber do these like as a general rule? I imagine more than the rear camber of -1.5' I typically run. So my plan is to target -3.8 front and -2 rear
    • If you want to test it under temperature, I think you should enter the One Raceway day tomorrow with Duncan!
