Sliding Hifolw On An Rb20

Hi all. I am after response and a dyno sheet for the following turbos or some testamonial.

I have an RB20 and am going to go either the RB20 hiflow or the RB25 hiflow for the RB20.

on his site it says "1 bar from as little as 3000rpm" and flows enough for 200+ rwkw.

does anyone have some figures from a slide hiflow on an RB20. I have found heaps of info on them for RB25s but not the ole 20.

If I have searched and missed please point me in the right direction!

I am not trying to start a shitfight. just need teh info

what max power will the rb20 hiflow make and what max power will the rb25 hiflow make?

1 bar at 3000rpm could only be done on an rb25 min... Plus it would have to have an EBC to get it there that quick...

I had a high flow GCG (which is a ball bearing one) on one of my rb20's and it hit 1.2bar at 4200rpm and thats with extensive mods.

I would extimate that a highflow on a stock rb20 would reach 1 bar at approx 4800rpm...

i dont see how a slower unit than the stocker can bring on more boost earlier. but yeah why not just contact them for a dyno sheet?

either way it wouldn't be as bad as a guy i know with a rb20 with a t70 on it. it hits 1 bar at 5900rpm, then has full boost for 1300rpm to its 7200rpm redline. was good (bad) enough a 14.4 1/4 mile time.

1bar at 3000k does sound a little optimistic.

As Paul said.. The rb20's have enough trouble making 1 bar at 3000rpm on the stock turbo.

I would expect a smallish highflow to be all in by ~4k.

i have the rb25 hiflow on my rb20 i got a 152rwkw on stock boost it is a little bit laggy but it is still fun to drive

by stock boost do you mean r32 actuator or r33 actuator?

if r33 auto or manual actuator, as they are different

I did not even realise that i had writen 3000rpm in the items description.

I have seen them create 1 bar of boost on the rb20 highflow at 3600rpm with just a power fc, electronic boost controller,cam gears and the usual supporting modifications.

Sorry about the misleading information it has been changed now.

Obviously different cars will react differently depending on modifications.

The ratio of RB20 turbo's sold to Rb25's is a very large difference with around 1 being done to around 40 rb25-VG30 highflows as everyone generally just upgrades to the RB25 turbo and highflow that.

I dont have a dyno sheet for either the RB20 highflow or the RB25 highflow on a RB20 as they are not a huge seller and i have just received feedback from customers and cars i have helped on the dyno.

The RB25 highflow will be able to get you 210 alot easier then the RB20 highflow which is why most go fot the 25.

A RB25 turbo elbow is required though as the RB20 elbow will not fit the 25 turbo.
