18x7.5

i had to do a double take there for a sec, coz u can get em for 1700 from tempe, but i was tradin mine in for 1650, so i went back down there and he hadnt takin off the 400 for my standards, so now its 1250 cheap as mate

Bigger at the rear?

that sounds a bit narrow.

But congrats, that's a nice design.

man i am having problems with these rims man

first they took 3 weeks to get em from tempe, after they were paid for in the first week.

second i finally got em in today and i opened the box with my tyre guy and they look like they are second hand, chips and scrathes all over em and look like they have had rubber on em, so now i had to send tempe photos to prove that they are faulty so they can send replacemets no idea why i throught the customer was always right?. and it wassnt just one rim, everyone, all four, ill try and get some pics up. i know im not allowed to bad mouth any stores but man.

nuffin but troubles

From personal experience, Tempe wont be happy about a return eventhough its not your fault, if you read the warranty, it basically says if the rim is used and not cleaned properly your warranty is void. And its up to them to decide if you clean the rim or not, so they basically have a "get out of jail" free card :P

Have you got pics?

Also, did you end up finding the other sizes they come in? Like widths?

i opened the rims from them, see i just ordered the rims without tyres, well my tyre guy did, and they were unopened and it wassnt caused by travel from syd so they were stuffed from tempe before i recieved them, , so it was their stuff up, my tyre guy waited until i got there to open them up, so it has nuffin to do with me or my tyre guy, tempe were real pricks to start with, but now they have the photos they see that they are not worthy of sale and are sendin me a new set. which is good but bit of a stuff around.

hey all

still havent recieved those rims and tempe have not even bothered lookin at the old ones to send me the new ones.

so i decided that it is a lost cause and i am sick of waiting its nearly 2 moths now, so i canceled my order and got the money back for my tyre guy. seriously never deal with tempe all they are just shit, no customer service what so ever. i know im not supposed to bad mouth companies so mods i will understand if u delete this post but i just want to warn people about it.

so anyway these are the new rim that i have decided to get, they are 18 x 8.5 and i think will look sweet as on my white 34, and ANZ are directly affiliated with tyre factory so i will definately have them in 2 days. they were second on my list of wheels and i feel now that they are a better wheel. esspecially coz they are wider. anyway let me know what you think.

    • -10 is plenty for running to an oil cooler. When you look at oil feeds, like power steering feeds, they're much smaller, and then just a larger hose size to move volume in less pressure. No need for -12. Even on the race cars, like Duncans, and endurance cars, most of them are all running -10 and everything works perfectly fine, temps are under control, and there's no restrictions.
    • Update: O2 sensor in my downpipe turned out to be faulty when I plugged in to the Haltech software. Was getting a "open circuit" warning. Tons of carbon buildup on it, probably from when I was running rich for a while before getting it corrected. Replaced with new unit and test drove again. The shuffle still happens, albeit far less now. I am not able to replicate it as reliably and it no longer happens at the same RPM levels as before. The only time I was able to hear it was in 5th going uphill and another time in 5th where there was no noticeable incline but applying more throttle first sped it up and then cleared it. Then once in 4th when I slightly lifted the throttle going over a bump but cleared right after. My understanding is that with the O2 sensor out, the ECU relies entirely on the MAP tune and isn't able to make its small adjustments based on the sensors reading. All in all, a big improvement, though not the silver bullet. Will try validating the actuators are set up correctly, and potentially setting up shop time to tune the boost controller on closed loop rather than the open loop it is set to now. Think if it's set up on closed loop to take the O2 reading, that should deal with these last bits. Will try to update again as I go.
    • More so GReddy oil relocation kits, sandwich plates, etc. all use 10AN fittings. And same, I've only used 10AN and my car sees track work (circuit, doing laps, not 10 sec squirt business).
    • street use or race track, what hose size and why? what factors change with the hose size options ?   see most comon is an10. when you see most oem external coolers are closer to an12? does high volume oil pump like nitto need an12 or 10 be just fine
