If you want load and angry.....straight through custom 3" pipe and hot dog with no silencer.

yer, i got this, 3" with just a hotdog at the end off hiflo cat and 3" batmbl dump

surprisingly not that loud (probably over 92 decibels though)

sounds great though

not even that droney

I have an SR20, but have a custom 3" exhaust with a hot-dog and a small cannon. Sounds pretty angry. A workshop thought that I had cams because of the way it idles. I told them that it was almost impossible because I bought the car stock and had not done any cam work to it.

I have:

Batmbl front split dump

Metal Cat highflow cat

Apexi N1 catback

The apexi part has a muffler in it about half way down, the difference I've noticed between this on my car and other R33's with full length exhausts is mine tends to be quiter and idle, and mine also seems to have a lower or deeper burble to it.

That all changes once you hit boost though, you get that lovely metalic almost sound of the turbo spooling then the exhuast just starts to get angrier then by the time you hit 'high' boost it sounds like it just wants to take off.

I'm very happy with my exhaust combo as you can probably tell.

My Fujitsubo is loud. And I mean LOUD.

about 97db.

3.5 inch centre, 3" rear. I have taken the rear section off and swapped for a Magnaflow 3" for street driving because the Fujistubo is too loud.

How much is the split dump you have?Does it go all the way into the cat like a front pipe? How much for SAU members?

CHEERS

Pipe goes from turbo to cat. Seperates the wastegate exhaust gases from the normal exhaust gases for a fair bit, =better for power than the all combined units you see getting around.

Last times prices were: $395+$15 delivery for the mild steel

or

$410+$15 for the stainless.

I got the stainless.

I suggest you contact Batmbl via pm.

    • This sounds like someone who would have owned an R33 in their past... It's okay, I'm 100% picking up what you're putting down Mark.
    • Just back on what was raised about jacking off the the tow/tie down point on the front of cars. I've used it plenty. I've also watched it on a car where you could see it move the front end of the car. It was like the front end/whole car being tweaked and twisted a bit. I will say, I struggle to find good jacking points on MOST cars. The ones that have good points, I then normally struggle to find a jack tall enough to make the car change height!   One of my go to points for either the jack, or the axel stands though, is either a suspension pickup point, OR a subframe to chassis major bolting point. I actually think its the subframe on my R33 that has a bit of a bend in it, from being jacked in the middle too. However, it could have been one of my many other cars I've had over the years! Or it could also be the from me jacking it up, and the fact the top of the front radiator support isn't there, so it can allow the front of the car to move and bend etc.
    • My apologies. I forgot we were talking about weird beard M series stuff. Had been talking elsewhere with someone about an R33 with similar subject and got confused.
    • Nope, I don't like the look of ND RF, or any ND really, I don't like their faces or arses, why, because of their "modern" lines, the NC, whilst "modernish" has a more rounded shape that I like Well, that's how my overly judgemental eyes see it anyway
    • Should be more than fine, especially the overall fuel pressure would never exceed 3.5bar (assuming that thing never gets more than 0.5bar of boost in stock form). According to the chart, it's 11amps.
