Yeah was pretty good just to watch, unfortunately a few big noter’s that were there were complete rubbish however.

Too bad the diesel was pretty heavy on the point where I kept on spinning, it’s damn right funny seeing the Lexus complete the whole round o bout.

Shame about your buddies’ car… Myself an a few mates bailed before the others an saw that sign on the way home…

Always next time to watch :)

Cyrus... I know you would have been keen to come... You can't hide it

the sign was somewhere near supercheap. it was a 2 legged sign. he hit it with the left rear quarter right in front of the tail light. the next day we started panel beating it out and its pretty much all done. all it needs now is a coat of paint.

nismo boy, my mate said you were doing pretty well. my mate that was in his missus car is going to look at a silvia this arvo. he's going to put the motor and box out of his drag car in there (a GH sigma with a sr20 in it - the motor is only stock with the usual mods -exhaust, cooler and more boost, but it ran a 12.5 at the 2005 jamboree). so when he puts that in he'll be out and about in it. it should handle a bit better than what he was going to put the motor into - a 1977 chrysler galant wagon.

Atleast some of the crowd was happy with some good old fashion Lexus fun. How’d you buddy go with that Silvia? I think anything will handle better then a Galant!!

We’re heading back out tonight; I’ll try and snap some happy pics.

Sambo, siff not wet weather ruckus isn’t fun, of course I’m talking about legal wet weather fun...

ha ha my mate has done up an old galant wagon. his dad now has it thought, its bright yellow.

that sign he hit wasnt the one i was talking about. the one i saw was down near the peregian springs roundabout, big mutha sign was bent pretty bad.

my mate ended up getting the silvia. its a natro, auto, ca18 (not that the motor will be in there long). paid $1800 for it and the body is perfect.

the galant wagon is a beast. its a 1.3 auto, with a burnt valve so its running on 3 cylinders. he decided against doing it up after he put a set of 14" wheels on it and it would just walk all over the road when it hit a bump.

    • Sorry to hear your HFM BM57 was faulty,  did you contact HFM I would hope they would be at least grateful for the information if there was some sort of manufacturing fault, you would hope they would be sympathetic even if your item was 2 years old if it had never been fitted. May I ask where it leaked from ?
    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
