I'll probly like your sr, and props for building one up, but as for talking about it all the time like verbal diarrhea ;)

Coilovers are HSD HR's with 5kg/front 4kg/rear springs, perfect for the street, but still firm cause they're the track spec damper..

Disks are 343mm two piece DBA5000 series, ferodo 2500 pads, custom unique autosports caliper spacer, motul RBF600 fluid, calipers serviced/new seals.. :)

yeah well first stage will be 240kw. then push standard bottom end to 270 and then ill hit 300ish

what are the ferodo pads like?

yeah coolo. that rotor will crack as soon as it gets red ;)

if he gets them hot enough

Not hard with some spirited driving :)

Nah she's all good, it takes a massive amount of braking to make a disk red hot and enough to crack, i'll also be fitting ducks from the lower front bar inlet on both sides and will be pointing them at the back of rotor.. so the chances of me cracking a rotor? slim to none..

id try to get the duct to come into a point where the air flow will cool the entire rotor, not just the back. caus if u go cooling the back and not the front, well it's just gonna crack, and crack in a big way!

Tell that line to your engine builder.."i knew my engine was running rich just before i saw a piston inbed itself in the bonnet !!".

I dont believe that for a second. You might be able to get a idea but throu listening but you dont know exactly what your air/fuel ratios are...

Ah in most cases you cant unless you have a meter or gauge. you might be able to hear an audilble knock or ping bit the damage is usually already done.i wouldnt rely my hearing on a modded import with a bit of boost and timing.

Get a stoich guage there only a 160 dollars approx.. maybe cheaper these days.

rofl :/ +1

hey dynamix i saw u out last night mate. i was the guy in front, next, and behind u in a silver r33 with the brake light that lit up the rear garnish. u may have also seen have my blue parker lights, and smelt my exhaust with no cat.

this was happening when that silver s15 was stalking us!. he films everything, with a camera hangin out the window=wierd.

mate.... love the wheels=dish. lol, i was gonna cut u off and yell out "yo dynamix" but, would be gay.

SWEET RIDE!!!!!

    • HFM BM57 has a "bad" knee point, IIRC. It's not the same thing as the later R chassis MC.
    • The ATTESSA is functionally identical to R34; there were a bunch of JDM models that continued ATTESSA including Fuga/Q70, Skyline/Q50, Cima etc as an option. All with Auto only and I think mostly for snow regions. AFAIK there were no AWD VR30DDTT sold in Australia - it is on my to do list to check regs for racing a LHD car in Targa/ATR/AASA/CAMS events because if I can get the auto to work it would be interesting to run a 4wd car The Ecuteck TCM tuning is the same model as their ECU tuning, they already have it for R35 and Dose's favourite, BMW. You buy "points" to allow your computer to be tuned, buy either a bluetooth (phone app) or bluetooth+USB+Key (phone and PC) dongle, and pay for a tune that will be locked to your tuner ( ). You can also access the tuning software yourself but 1. it is mega expensive and 2. these computers have a billion parameters that intersect, so how could you ever spend enough time on it to get a decent result.
    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
