Hey guys,

Just a quick question - a mate has a set of s15 rims with bout 85% tread left - he has offered me a very cheap price however Im thinking 205's maybe bit too skinny for my type of usage, anyone else?

cheers,

Chris

yeah thats what I was thinking too  dam gayness! hahahah

Ive currently got 225's at the moment - and hold up well.

I guess I could buy his rims and tyres and sell them for more = profit :P

Depending on what your using them for:

For Example last week i managed a

2.082 60ft with around 200-210rwkw, and that was with my stock r33 rims with Toyo T1R's in 205/55/r16, i was SHOCKED!.. but then again maybe the burnout helped i was doing consistent 2.1-2.2 60ft with those tyres.

salad - yep - the stock S15 rims - off a spec R

ok - I do the occasional motorkharna and track day - also got a supersprint coming up at bathurst, so you think they would go well?

these rims are in great nic - its tempting hehe

Well they are the same size as stock R33 wheels but have a +45 offset instead of +40, so you have 10mm less track, so theoretically worse handling. I dont think 10mm less track is noticable though... So only gains would be aesthetic. They do look a lot better than stock R33 wheels though.

I got them for my R32 just for the look of them.

So it's up to you really

i had s15 rims on the front of my r33 for a while and they looked horrible!!!! r33 rims looks bad enough offset wise by the s15 rims took it too far. dont do it :(

handling wise cant really comment as they were used temporarily and when i was using the car for 'fun' if you know what i mean.

and depending on the quality of tyre you can have good and bad handling/grip with 205s its too general a question...
