Micheal
Hello, I'm new here The laws are confusing the hell out of me so i'll just ask R32 GTS-t with; - RB26DETT - Turbo Upgrade - After Market Exhaust System - Front Mount Intercooler All done by Workshops and Engineered. Al
no. If the rb26 was totally std, with std ecu, etc and engineered it would be legal. But hey every mod you ever do is going to be illegal, at least you get it for a cheap price Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/144866-is-this-legal/#findComment-2705022 Share on other sites

Rekin
turbo upgrade alters emission and is illegal turbo back exhaust is fine if its below the noise limit fmic legal if you dont have a pod. could be wrong on any of the above cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/144866-is-this-legal/#findComment-2705095 Share on other sites
ABuSD
Who gives a sh!t? Lets face it at the end of the day, u may buy your car legal, but will it ever stay that way for long? And lets say if by some chance it does stay legal, Johnny Law will find something wrong with it...so why bother i say. But yeah, if its been engineered with the gear on the car as it is the state(tune/mod level) its in then its fully legal. Sounds very tasty, u buying for yourself? But hey, a r32 gtst with a stock rb26 would still make me a very happy man , I might just ring up some workshops and see what they recommend. But just one other thing, there must be plenty of people breaking the law frequently, because when I go to car shows I see these cars which obviously have illegal modifications, and Victorian plates. Perhaps some people just have plenty of money to not worry about the police.
