Need Some Aftermarket Help Please

Does anyone know of any place to buy aftermarket tie rods for my r32 gtr? and the prices for it.

Obviously i know i can go to nissan, but they are not my first choice because of cost.

i am in brisbane, but will be happy to look interstate.

I'm pretty certain "tie rods" and "tie rod ends" are the same thing. Try Repco for a set.

Pedders sell em, round $100. Got lhs one replaced.

Tie rods are the actual rod thats screws into the rack

Tie rod ends are the bit that bolts to your hub

you reckon pedders? ive have so many "run ins"with pedders. they just seem never to get it right. but i will try them out. thanks.

what your after is known as a "rack-end" not a tie rod.

i had to get some for a er34 a while back thru nissan. they were 116 each. actually cheaper than the genuine tierod end. lol

ok sweet. i might just buy through nissan, they quoted $104

Buy genuine nissan.. they arent that much of a price difference.. about $57 each

I have a pair of genuines here, paid about 105 each from memory.

tie rod ends I am hoping to get a pedders aftermarket replacement, cos ~160 ea for ends is highway robbery..

i had to do my ends too. my pockets got raided by nissan just for a pair. pedders dont do them, as of around 6 months ago. they screwed me over and over and over repeatedly.

didnt have any issues with the genuine nissan gear. i have a post in the DIY for tie rod ends.

yeh im going to try to get the "rack ends" through my mechanic. stuff paying $104 each.
