ahh how was the clipsal?? i've never been :P

Stomach Wrenching and damn fast! Quite a bit quicker than any of our cruises ive ever been on.. Id love to get a hot lap in my car (maybe with some slicks) and then a hot lap in a v8 to compare differences!!!!... Ahhh one can only dream!! :sorcerer:

yeah tis good, but theres so much shit wrong with it, got some rust

the interior looks shit as, got no key for it :P , needs new shockers

needs all windows replaced, coz they've all got yellow paint on em

probably has alot more wrong with it but yeah, i'm gonna have no

money left :

What's the story behind your car, I've heard bits and peices about but I haven't heard how you came about buying it.

Took my toy out for a drive for the first time since the midnight cruise some time back..... WOW.... Still feeling the adrenaline!...... Dont have any traction in 1st 2nd or 3rd which is a bit worrying but the good thing about a line is you just take your foot off the pedal and correct the steering a bit and it snaps rite back in line. (that is if you dont want to hold the slide heheheheheheh)....

Anyone know if AIR is fixed and ready to run yet or do we still have to do the dodgy on the street?

Must be costing big bickies to have the track just sitting there not being used and not bringing in any money (ie the drags must bring in a couple of grand minumum each weekend)...... is it just the timer board that they are fixing or is there a bit more to it?

I believe they are resurfacing the back section, because i also believe they might wanna hold some other events such as Grip Racing and of course Drift(because that brings in more money than anything) will be good to actually have other forms of racing there(again).

They have actually been needing to fix up the whole track for a few years now...........just look at it!! But better to do it now than later!! :(

    • Definitely do-able haha. I will give it a try if the fuel pump hanger does not solve the issue. Just need to find some quiet time in the area, Malta is like a big city and I live right next to the main hospital so it is very busy during the day. I'll be installing it in about 2 weeks, found a garage that is pretty knowledgeable and has the necessary tools. This garage has worked on multiple builds, even for competitions. They even asked me to stay with, so I should be fine.
    • Just to add, I found the r32 gtr ecu the most forgiving, the r33 one would get the shits.
    • For what it’s worth I drove my gtr for over a decade with gt-ss as a true daily after I pulled off the -5s, I had it engineered and went with stock ecu etc.  never skipped a beat.    I would only worry if you can’t get good fuel all the time in a tropical paradise
    • I bought an engine from a friend of a friend many years ago, it was sold to me as a RB25det Neo.    recently I started pulling it apart and noticed that the intake manifold was pretty different from others that I had seen on RB engines so did a bit of research and found that it was a non turbo manifold. So I’m sceptical now that it is a NEO DET and just thinking it’s a NEO DE (it does have a turbo strapped to it currently).    can you identify the engine model from the numbers on the block?
    • Yeah you can. Cable tie the gauge to a windscreen wiper, or run it into the car and hold it with one hand, or have the neighbour's kid run alongside and tell you what it says.
