Once about 2-3 months ago, helped a mate race his Saloon Car at OP! went to the Opera Bar on the friday night with a mates sister that lives over there! was really good! we were there for about 3-4 days but mainly out near the track tho!

So didnt get to come into the city???

looking to gather as much info about skylines before i buy one

its a choice on 3 nissans

a v35 sedan for her

and a r33/r34 coupe or stagea for me

plus still keeping the mg v8

and sell the is200

What are you leaning toward I have always favoured R33 but had a few so want to go toward R32 GTR or stagea they are nice cars

Yeh loved OP, but who wouldn't when all we have is a flat prodominatly right handed corner track! :no:

:D what are you going to buy?

Unfortunatly i will look at something other than a import, just so i can focus on getting a house soon! won't be able to afford a skyline and want to mod more and maintain with a house and a single wage! BUT i will be back for more once settled! :)

Its an awesome track huh I have been out there 3 times now and got to see the Z tuned 34 go around at private track day was so "phat" cant wait till I get to drive on it.

Over here they are heavily into track days its good so can really have some fun instead of on the streets

I know what you mean about a house it sucks cant have both when are you selling?

the reason why ive ruled out a gtr its out of my price range and wanting something a little tamer than a gtr - as it will be my daily driver

Really lol have to get them an I reckon you still will have a hard time choosing :D

Yeah GTR are loads of fun and mine will be a daily driver but think GST-t are alot more fun not so paronoid about breaking something :no:

We have GTR now and just sits in the garage only come out on weekends if that its sad :P

Yeh nice, I saw that Z Tune 34 in the flesh when i went with my mate to Sandown 500 to race! it was in the pits parked near the Porsches! yes is quite the vehicle!

Prob try and sell up in a month or two, Just gotta fix up the cracks in the front bar, and a general clean and tidy up as well as a service and a tune!

      I have had too many of those over the years, my cars have a toolkit or at minimum a cheapy multi tool thing because its too easy to be snookered by some stupid plastic clip that stops you checking the battery terminal isn't loose.

      Basically, if there is a part# on the nissan catalogue, it is a genuine part. There is a thing called "new old stock" which is stuff made years ago but never sold (or landfilled), but it is super hit and miss what you can buy. Other than some expensive Nismo stuff there is nothing new being made that suits these cars. The only time to be a little careful is (mostly in the US I think, but maybe Japan too), Nissan started rebranding some cheap crap maintenance parts like oil filters as "Pitworks"; stay away from them, if you are buying cheap just buy whatever the local car parts shop carries The three part numbers have an explanation on Amayama: 0V005 is auto, base style 0V015 is manual 0V505 is auto, hectic momo branded ones, maximum F&F points there!

      Just to get this straight if you turn the splined shaft to the outside, it turns freely but the chain does not move? What happens when you move the chain, does the splined shaft turn? Surely the shaft is snapped, or the chain is seized and it took the teeth off whatever great is behind the steel bracket
