Welcome to Skylines Oz.

The ECU is found on the pasanger side front kick panel. This is the panel directly below the glove box. You will see a 10mm plastic nut, undo this and pull the cover off, it takes a bit of fore to unclip it, be gentel through. (if you sit in the pasanger sit, and rotate the left foot towards the outside of the car, you will hit the panel behind which the ECU can be found.)

The stock ecu runs 5psi below 4500rpm and 7psi above that, there is a hack to make the car run 7psi all the time. Look under the DIY section.

In regards to modifications, get a full exhaust, a good boost controller and posibly a new fuel pump, as skyline ones a notourious for failing, posibly a new computer or a pigyback one, and 200rwKw or 270hp at the rear wheels is easy to get.

Wouldnt Georgia be better off with 4wds? :(

Tbilisi is a city with over million people so im sure there is lots of sealed roads

i would get rid of the hicas save 20kg in weight and makes for a better handling car

it must be cool 2 have the first line in Tbilisi

About roads we have no problem:) I can tell you roads in Tbilisi and central magistral roads are better conditon in Caucasus:) and we have RUSTAVI track its 4.4 km long its not LAGUNA SECA but road cover is in good condition so people dont have any problem with adrenalin:) 2 days ago i Install boost gauge its shows more than 7 PSI its mneans turbo is ok, actualy this is my first Japan car because mostly Georgians are Bavarian fans:)

sky3hs8.jpg

this is my sky i run 402 meter 13 .55 sec i think its ok for stock car without any modifications and again i have miss when changing gear from second to third:) i think i need time because i have run onle just 500 km yet, and there is video of my car and BMW 540 actualy 4.4 engine with 286 hp with tiptronic gear box and we push acceleration after 50 km in hour:) BMW 540 VS R33 GTST

That doesn't sound like a stock R33 gtst. If it was stock, it would be in the 14's. The fact that you run over 7psi shows that it isn't stock aswellr.

Hi mate,

the highes you should go is 12psi maximum, 10-11 is safer. Over 12psi and ur exhaust wheel on the turbo will blow off. you shoudl upgrade your intercoole rif your running more boost. Also get a full exhaust system.

I bought boost controller but I dont know what is recomended PSI what i can boost on GTS25T? car is absolutely stock....

Please Help!Please Help!Please Help!;)

What tmc_2 said. Go 10psi. Although if you haven't put a full exhaust system on yet, don't boost it at all. The stock system is very restrictive and you won't reap the best benefits. Intake & Exhaust & intercooler first (although its probably colder there anyway), then boost.

i wouldnt be screwing any more boost into it without some better breathing. you need an exhaust, intercooler and pod filter immediately before boosting the poor stock motor.

    • I mean, I got two VASS engineers to refuse to cert my own coilovers stating those very laws. Appendix B makes it pretty clear what it considers 'Variable Suspension' to be. In my lived experience they can't certify something that isn't actually in the list as something that requires certification. In the VASS engineering checklist they have to complete (LS3/NCOP11) and sign on there is nothing there. All the references inside NCOP11 state that if it's variable by the driver that height needs to maintain 100mm while the car is in motion. It states the car is lowered lowering blocks and other types of things are acceptable. Dialling out a shock is about as 'user adjustable' as changing any other suspension component lol. I wanted to have it signed off to dissuade HWP and RWC testers to state the suspension is legal to avoid having this discussion with them. The real problem is that Police and RWC/Pink/Blue slip people will say it needs engineering, and the engineers will state it doesn't need engineering. It is hugely irritating when aforementioned people get all "i know the rules mate feck off" when they don't, and the actual engineers are pleasant as all hell and do know the rules. Cars failing RWC for things that aren't listed in the RWC requirements is another thing here entirely!
    • I don't. I mean, mine's not a GTR, but it is a 32 with a lot of GTR stuff on it. But regardless, I typically buy from local suppliers. Getting stuff from Japan is seldom worth the pain. Buying from RHDJapan usually ends up in the final total of your basket being about double what you thought it would be, after all the bullshit fees and such are added on.
    • The hydrocarbon component of E10 can be shittier, and is in fact, shittier, than that used in normal 91RON fuel. That's because the octane boost provided by the ethanol allows them to use stuff that doesn't make the grade without the help. The 1c/L saving typically available on E10 is going to be massively overridden by the increased consumption caused by the ethanol and the crappier HC (ie the HCs will be less dense, meaning that there will definitely be less energy per unit volume than for more dense HCs). That is one of the reasons why P98 will return better fuel consumption than 91 does, even with the ignition timing completely fixed. There is more energy per unit volume because the HCs used in 98 are higher density than in the lawnmower fuel.
    • No, I'd suggest that that is the checklist for pneumatic/hydraulic adjustable systems. I would say, based on my years of reading and complying with Australian Standards and similar regulations, that the narrow interpretation of Clause 3.2 b would be the preferred/expected/intended one, by the author, and those using the standard. Wishful thinking need not apply.
    • Yes they do. For some maybe. But for those used the most by abusers, ie Skylines, the numbers are known. The stock eyebrow height for R32/3 Skylines is about 365/375mm or thereabouts. The minimum such heights are recorded in adjacent columns in the database.
