For 3 months i had a bad miss in my R32 GTR (only happened when engine was warm) I had just replaced the spark plugs,about 1000km (NGK ...6... Iridiums) Then it all started............ CLOSED THE GAP TO .8 ....FITTED NEW SPLITFIRES....CHANGED T.P.S.....CHANGED C.A.S..... CHANGED COIL IGNITER.....CLEANED AND SOLDERED A.F.M,s And then i fitted a set of "NGK BCP6ES COPPERS" "GUESS WHAT, ALL FIXED"

ANY THOUGHTS ON THE ABOVE ????

iridiums warn you on the packet not to adjust the gap, because the centre electrode is very fine and easily damaged.

at least you found the problem eventually.

Thanks Kinks, I was having the problem before i adjusted the gap. Yes the centre electrode is very brittle, great care must be taken not to touch the electrode or insulator.
