gillies2001 Posted February 8, 2007 Share Posted February 8, 2007 For 3 months i had a bad miss in my R32 GTR (only happened when engine was warm) I had just replaced the spark plugs,about 1000km (NGK ...6... Iridiums) Then it all started............ CLOSED THE GAP TO .8 ....FITTED NEW SPLITFIRES....CHANGED T.P.S.....CHANGED C.A.S..... Kinks Posted February 12, 2007 Share Posted February 12, 2007 iridiums warn you on the packet not to adjust the gap, because the centre electrode is very fine and easily damaged. at least you found the problem eventually. Yes the centre electrode is very brittle, great care must be taken not to touch the electrode or insulator.
