Yeah I heard that he was driving it later that night. Only real damage was to the paint.

i read somewhere that because of the fuel pressure it blew one of the lines off and it caught fire as they just finished the run

Apparently the rev limiter cut the injectors, but not the fuel pump. Fuel pressure built up in the lines till they burst, resulting in fire.
