Yeh but the racing sucked...you would watch a race for one or two overtaking moves. The cars were cool though.

I need 49,000 pound so i can buy an Eggenberger Sierra thats for sale. The seller has 3 for gods sake, you think he would swap one of them for my R32

Where's your head at ??? I thought you were raised better than that ?!?! I'm very dissapointed in you....

We'll be sure to see Spencer ( and the little alfa that can ) and you "know" we'll be cheering him on !!

I don't 100% agree with that. I think it depended on the track and the conditions. Car / Track / Condition suitability played a big part. But that's something we can discuss at the track with coffee and food and then talk about how much the Baron is missing out on

Ok, (20 Q's)

so just to confirm, this is happening this coming weekend 10-11/3/07 ???

does anone know the timetable for the saturday?

what cars can we expect to make an appearance?

i'm keen as mustard to come and check this out

can we get a roll call going on?

Obviously the HR31 will be there, what else is a definate?

Some info on the event including times/costs:

The huge 33-event programme gets underway on Saturday March 10, with practice for all categories from 9.05am, with racing commencing at 1.20pm. Sunday’s all-day race programme runs from 9.05am until 4.35pm, with a special one-minute’s silence as a Tribute to Peter Brock just after 2.00pm.

And for the really keen, there’s all-day un-timed practice on Friday March 9 for all categories.

Admission costs $10 Friday, $20 Saturday and $30 Sunday, with admission to the paddock area free, while a weekend ticket for all three days is $40.

Will be heading down on Saturday in the GT-R to cheer the Nissans on, looking forward to seeing some of these cars up close.

the message is: the beer baron is coming to get you!!! (or going broke trying). It's no gibson GTR, but it's getting there.

Never going to be quick when your too scared to bin it

sadly I think there is a lot of truth in that.

well at least we both know you're not too scared to bin it eh troy. :) hehehe.

After reading the information that "thebuzz" linked any car nut would be a goose to miss this.

Dane: I'll be heading down with a couple of guys on the saturday, i'll buzz you when we get there, maybe bring those pics from sandown for Deano

hahaha sounds like a plan :)

Fat34 was close, but phunky takes the clean sweep. :)

Project Mu...... What a stupid name for a brake pad. Sounds like a drift team sponsored by a Dairy

Anyway, good eye's phunky !! Never would have picked the shocks !! :)

Hope you guys in VIC are going to turn on some nice cool dry weather for the weekend !?!?

Anyway, will see you guys at the track !

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
