doesnt work that way for me Sam :(

From memory (cos i did this packaged with a winery tour for SAUWA about 3 years ago) the more people you get together for it - the cheaper it becomes. The group booking information can be found on the swan valley oasis site - i tried to look it up but my work computer for some reason thinks its an "explicit site" must be all that talk about large balls.

also best way to do it - is get people to deposit the money in your back BEFORE the event with the no refunds if you dont turn up policy.

As nice as all you are a lot of SAUWA people say they'll be at an event then dont turn up - so this way you have a commitment out of people and also have the numbers all organised with yourself and the venue.

Guilty...Good plan ma'am

I need some input as to what people would like to do and when.

If we decide to play on a sunday we can only play a maximum of 9 holes (more than likely the front 9 which is far easier than the back 9). If we play on a saturday we can play the 18.

Cost is $12 per person per 9 holes with a discount offered (15%) to group bookings if paid in full in advance. I guess the easiest way to do that would be confirm your spot by paying me 2 weeks before the date so i can pay the booking, and receive the discount. I have not worked out how much it would be per person with the discount that we could receive.

I had thought to make sure as many people as possible can attend would be to plan early. I was thinking March 24 or 25th but that is obviously open to suggestion if thats not a good weekend (e.g. drifting event, or somehting that people would rather attend).

Have I missed any details that you guys want or need to know?

Regards

Brad

sounds good.

i'm up for either 9 or 18 holes, any day suits me except for march 4th (which is probably too close to plan anyway).

so that's my 9or18 holes and availability survey for you.

(i dont know where it is, but i'll look that up myself :P)

Location may also help people make the decision to come or not.

It is in the swan valley on West Swan Road. About 5 minutes from Roe highway. (Between roe highway and Gnangara Road)

Events wise - there is a MaxAuto Action on Sunday March 25th so if you are planning supa golf for the weekend of the 24th/25th... Donna and I would be in for the Saturday for 9 or 18 holes. If you can confirm this date I will drop you the dosh... if you can catch me Mr. Speed-cut! :P

Dude thats just not nice!!! Nissan gave me speed cut to give you guys a chance!!!

Saturday 24th it is. Tee off at 1ish? Decision decided!

Kids are welcome. Keep in mind, kids will slow play while looking for your ball that you lost! lol

Yup,

Saturday 24th at 2pm it is.

My suggestion is to do the front 9 holes as they are easier to play. It normally takes an hour and a halfish to play 9 holes so with a large group i dont think time will permit for 18.

Ill count up the numbers on monday 26th of Feb and make a booking, then take payments. Probably best into my bank account with a PM so i know its done, or other arrangments can be made. Will work these details out next week. Obviousy payments are non refundable.

Does that sound ok to all???

Regards

    • After using a protractor for an actually accurate assessment of what is required,  and by NOT using my uncalibrated eyeball I worked out I need a 25° silicone bend from the TB ro the MAF, but, my choice was either a 30° or a 23° (23° is a weird spec), so I grabbed the 23° one from Raceworks I also grabbed 1mtr of 3" straight from Just Jap, I needed 350mm, but they only had 300mm, or 1mtr lengths....meh Also ordered a 1/2" hose bulkhead fitting from fleabay, this has a smoothish mushroom looking head (they are designed for below the water line of boats) that will fit inside the bend, the hose bit and threaded bit looks to long, but nothing that a hacksaw cannot fix if required, the hose will then just get jamed on the threaded bit up to the retaining nut Fingers crossed and the unsightly amount of hose clamps will be reduced down to 4 once all the parts arrive
    • Oil change does not trigger code 21. Code 21 is for coilpacks primary side connection. You can try to clear the code with a battery disconnect, hold down the brake pedal to drain capacitors through the brake lights with the ignition on for 10-15 seconds before you reconnect the battery. I have seen R35 coil conversion permanently cause this code with no ill effects so it might be the resistance it wants to see isn't quite right on one or more coilpacks. Could be inside the ECU, could be the harness, could be a coil. You can test it all if you want or just ignore until the car actually starts misfiring.
    • I forgot you have a Nistune ECU. Use Nistune to do all the tests I mentioned instead of faffing with 30+ year old electrical connectors. You can read MAF volts off that too, there are reference values in the service manual to tell you roughly what it should be in different conditions.
    • No. I think it might be the AFM. Hence the use of the terms "swaptronics", which implies the use of swapping out electronics for the purpose of diagnosis. It's about the only way to prove that a small/niggling/whatever problem with an AFM or a CAS or similar is actually caused by that AFM/CAS/whatever. A known good item swapped in that still gives the same problem is likely to be caused somewhere else. They're all the same. Spraying AFMs with cleaner is an each way bet between cleaning it and f**king it.
    • Oh wow! This might actually work amazingly. Do you know the ratio of the diff? I was told the only thing you need to make sure of is if the front & rear diff ratios are the same. Ours is a 4.083 Thanks!
