I cut thru Olympic Village (usually Holker and Birnie Ave.) to avoid Parramatta Rd.

My car does not ride on that stretch of Parramatta Rd. well at all.

I'm guaranteed to see a police car in Olympic Village. Not running mind you but rather pulling over some poor bastard.

And they don't care who they pull over... I've seen a VL Walkinshaw Commodore with a 'ful s1k bro', a clapped out Corona wagon with a woman, an old guy in a diesel 'Cruiser, sales rep. in a VX Commodore. You name it, pulled over for some traffic citation.

And that's just this week!

Cops know it's easy pickings for people over the 60 limit, esp. now with so many people going to Newington.

they have to make back the money used to put the stupid signs up. i'm sure parking inspectors booking a few cars here and there would also pay for this. I always see inspectors bookign cars in the back lane behind miller st. Lucky my company pays for my parking under the BEA building :D

    • I'm getting PTSD flashbacks seeing that name again.  With my turbo swift, I got 1,500km of street use on a Jim Berry clutch before it exploded and took out my input shaft with it.

That said, some days you'll just never beat genetics, but 99% of the time dogs chasing cats is purely lack of socialisation, and then the chasing part can turn into prey drive.
